Clara's POV
I had always been the quiet one. The one who didn't stick out in crowds, the one who could easily go unnoticed, and the one who was an expert at not drawing attention to herself. I was completely fine with this. I preferred to stay at the back of crowds, in the quiet part. Even my name is quiet, with the C blending with the L to create a smooth, soft sound. My sister is the loud one. She liked to be in the thick of things, the center of attention. Everyone would talk to her, though she wasn't exactly the popular type. She didn't like all those giggling, gossiping girls that could pretty much ruin someone's life with a couple words. When those girls tried to talk to her, she ignored them or left, leaving them oblivious to the fact that they were chatting away to air.
Callie's POV
I was the louder one between Clara and I. That was for sure. My name seemed to be louder, with the hard C being stopped by nothing, followed by an A which only makes it louder. My twin sister, Clara, is younger than me by exactly one hour. It was a bit creepy, the way things happened. I was born exactly at 12:00 pm, and she was born exactly at 1:00 pm. Now, we are starting our first year at Stonebury Highschool. To my surprise, we have the same homeroom teacher, Mrs. Jell. Honestly, I'm not that excited to start highschool, but I'm concerned about Clara. If she gets bullied, I'd blame myself for not being with her. That's just the way it is. I'm protective of her, and it's almost as if our personalities are perfect based on our lives.
A/N: Hello! Thanks for reading this book! I know this chapter was short, but I wanted to see if people like this story before I continue.
