Jaob/Artemis

"Hey Artemis! "

"What's up Artemis?"

"Hello."

I looked them weirdly. Two of them are smiling brightly, while the other one is the same as Joab.

"Uh.. Do I guys know you? Your not that familiar to me."

Dahan dahan kong sabi sakanila.
They all chuckled like I'm joking.

"I'm Danriel Ocampo."

The Dan guy introduced. Danriel is long, so I'll call him Dan instead.

"Yael Garcia."

He waved his hand and I awkwardly waved back.

"Ruo Santos."

He said and smiled a bit. I smiled back.

"Leave."

Ruo laughed. He turned his back and started to walk. What's wrong with him?

"Agad agad? Tsk."

Said Dan. Both of them, Yael and Dan, leaved. Just like Joab said.

"So.. Aren't you leaving?"

He laughed at me and held my hand.

"No, y'said you need a ride right?"

Unknowingly, tumango ako sakanya.

"I mean no!"

He laughed again. Hobby niya bang tumawa ng tumawa? Wala sa itsura.

"Tara."

Hinigot niya ako papunta sa school's parking lot niya. Well, some students are staring like forever. I just stared back to them. Swerte nila tiningnan ko sila.

Nang makasakay na kami sa kotse niya agad ko siyang tinanong.

"What are you doing?"

He stared at me.

"Uh.. started the engine?"

Napaikot ang mga mata ko sa naging sagot niya.

"Stupid."

He started to drive.

"What I mean is what's this all about?"

Sumulyap siya sakin at binalik din ang tingin sa daan.

"Look.. I'm sorry if nakielam ako sainyo nung babaeng yon. Mainit lang talaga ang ulo ko non. Okay? Okay?"

Ngumiti siya pero sa daan pa din ang tingin niya. What's wrong with him?

"Ano bang nangyari sainyo doon? Kung makagawa kayo ng ek--."

"I dumped her just like you think."

"Why?" I asked.

"Kahit sino namang tao ang nasa sitwasyon ko ganon din ang gagawin niya. "

Tumingin ako sakanya kasabay non ang pagtingin niya rin akin. Ngumiti siya.

"I'm all ears."

I said and minute has passed he started talking. Im an expert with this kind of thing.

"Chelsey and I had been together for 4 years. We're happy, we were happy. Time flies, she got pissed for how I am  possessive over her, so she cheated without me knowing for about 1 year and half."

"My friend Dan informed me. I was furious, and for the first time in my life, I cried. Yeah, sounds stupid but I did cry because of her."

"And you decided to end it today?"

"Yup."

"Alam mo bang nagsisi akong ginawa ko pa iyon? Nalate ako kanina, napagalitan ako sa prof ko, at magtatrabaho ako sa library for 2 months! Ugh! Mr. Guevara must've been crazy."

"Really? Ako hindi."

Napabaling ako sakanya.

"Of course hindi ka magsisisi. Duh."

Napatawa siya at tumingin sakin ng diretso.

"If you didn't did that, your not here, beside me."

Napaiwas ako sa sinagot niya at nanahimik ng ilang sandali.

"But how did she cheated?"

I asked. 'Curiosity kills Artemis' I reminded myself.

"She met some guy and.."

"Eww!"

Napatawa siya sa naging reaksyon ko.

"Yeah, I know. There was a time I  was controlling myself because I respect her but knowing what she did I was disgusted."

Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko. Binatukan ko siya ng malakas.

"H-hey! Shit."

He groan.

"Stupid."

I said.

"Who?"

He asked.

"You and that Chelsey crybaby. Just because you are possessive and she doesn't like that  doesn't mean she can cheat. Tsk"

"Hindi natuloy ako nagsisisi na pinahiya ko siya. Anyway she deserve it. "

'No need to be sorry Artemis' I reminded myself again.

"Ano ng plano mo ngayong wala na kayo?"

"For now, I'm on a break."

Naging tahimik na ang naging byahe. Wala ng nagbalak magsalita pagkatapos niyang maglabas ng loob. Its okay as long it's not an awkward silence.

7:20 ng makarating kami kina Lolo. Hininto niya sa gilid ang kotse. Hindi ko na tinanong kung paano niya nalaman ang daan, I knew the answer already so why ask, right?

"Were here."

Inalis ko ang seatbelt at kinuha sa backseat ang mga gamit ko.

"I like possessives though."

Tumingin ako sakanya at ngumiti. Lumabas na ako at diretsong pumasok sa loob. Buti nalang walang tao sa living room. Shit, did I just said that?

You are being a stupid too Artemis Allen.
