Chapter 10 - Date

 “Thank you Maria.”

 I put my laptop down on the coffee table and walked over to him and embraced him in the tightest hug I think I could possibly do.

 “What was that for?”

 “I thought you could do with it.” I say while smiling at him. We finish up the lesson by acting out a running scene from one of Chaplins movies before collapsing on the sofa together in fits of laughter. There was a bought of nice silence before Robert spoke.

 “So what do you want to do now?”

 “Depends.”

 “On?”

 “What time is it?”

 “4pm”

 “Well in that case I think we best get ourselves ready for dinner. That's if the offer of dinner is still open?” I say while raising an eyebrow at him. “I knew it was, like he could resist me hah.”

 “Why of course it is my dear. Oh and its not an offer it's an invitation.” He proceeds to say and once finished does a spin on the spot and heads upstairs. I follow shortly after while giggling to myself at how excited he is and how much of a kid he can be sometimes.
I leave Robert in my bedroom while I jump in the shower.

 Robert's POV

 Maria goes into the shower and I know now is my opportunity to put my plan into action. I get out my phone and text my assistant.

 R - Hi. Can you bring my outfit to the address I text you earlier please? As quick as you can.

 I get a text back shortly after.

 A - I'm outside boss.

 I run downstairs and open the front door to see my assistant Amanda standing there holding my outfit. I take it off her thank her and am about to go back in the house when she stops me.

 “Mr Downey. I thought you might need some extra items, to give it that final touch.” She hands me a shoe box and a pocket watch.

 “These are perfect thank you Amanda. Quick thinking there.”

 “Thank you sir.”

 “Well thank you for bringing me these I best get back in. It is supposed to be a surprise.”

 “Of course.”

 “Have a good night Amanda.”

 “You too boss.”

 I rush back upstairs and place my outfit on the bed. I quickly get dressed and not forgetting to add the extra touches Amanda brought me. I look at myself in the mirror and am happy with the result.
“I hope Maria likes this.”

 Maria's POV

 I finish in the shower and get dressed into comfy clothes and dry and style my hair. I head out of the bathroom to find Robert standing by my bed. My eyes slowly adjusted to the different light levels in the room only to reveal an image that would leave me speechless and slightly stunned. It was amazing.

 “Whaaatt....are you wearing?” The words manage to trickle out of my stunned body.

 “An outfit from Sherlock. You like?” He says while doing a little spin on the spot, the leaving a trail as the clothes follow behind him.

 “I like very much. I have always thought the costumes in Sherlock where amazing.” I run over to him to literally just touch the outfit, to make sure it was really happening. It was amazing. It consisted of a white shirt with the collar turned up, a dark coloured waist coat with a faint design imprinted upon it, pin-stripe trousers with a brown belt, dark shoes with a bit of a heal and a long dark velvet coat. I just kept stroking the coat. “God he must think I'm so weird but its velvet, velvet has to be stroked.”
