PROJECT: Alex

Introduction

On Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 Boston went through a horrible storm. We called this the Tempest. This storm has harmed many people, possibly hundreds of people. Doctors are rushing across the premises checking on their patients when many doctors are gathered around one boy in particular. Alex Roy, who is 24 years old, was never known for being a quick one but when doctors were trying to get some samples he would just vibrate at rapid speeds so that the needles would phase through him and drop on the other side of the room. After many hours of hard work Alex decided to let them take some of his blood. Once it was extracted they allowed Alex to go home. Meanwhile at the hospital the doctors were analyzing the blood sample and saw some anomalies in his genetics. The two most interesting anomalies the doctors found were that he had enhanced speed and increased healing.
"What are we going to do with this boy sir?" a doctor asked
"Just wait and see John, wait and see." the mysterious man replied.

Once John was dismissed he rushed to the blood testing chambers and stole Alex's blood. Once the vial was taken off it's place the alarms were raised and guards were rushing towards the chambers but John knew the hospital inside out and took the vents as an escape route. After minutes of crashing through the vents John has escaped and rushed towards a black car and raced as far away as possible from the hospital grounds.
"Did you get it?" a woman asked
"Yes I did dear Brenda" and raised the vial of blood for proof.
"Well done John" she replied and hit the accelerator and drove off towards a wall and it opened revealing a hidden entrance and disappeared once they drove through the wall and were never heard of for a while. Or were they?

However, when poor Alex got home and accidentally revealed his 'powers' to his parents they freaked and sent him out of the house immediately and told him to never came back. As Alex was walking around on the road with tears in his eyes he accidentally ran into a black car (sound familiar?) and Alex immediately backed off and apologized until he recognized the car and knew who was behind the wheel.
"Auntie Brenda, Uncle John is that you?" he asked
"Yes Alex and you are coming with us." they replied and put Alex in the back seat and drove off to a nice mansion that is located somewhere near the corner of Boston.
"This is where you guys live now?" Alex asked
"Yes we do Alex." Brenda responded "And you're welcome to stay here as long as you like."
"Heck yeah I'm staying here. This is a great place and you guys are the best guardians I could ask for."

Things remained this way for a while until another unfortunate accident had to strike.
