Annie Yeni's POV:

I rush to get dressed as I slip on my shorts and my tank top trying to find Vans. I text Dallas and tell him I'm on my way out. My wet hair blowing in the California wind. I get into Dally's car him smacking my ass jokingly. Dally say "hows my beautiful best friend on the first day of 12th grade" I roll my eyes and say "Thank you Dally. I feel like shit. I'm so fucking tired. My boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me since he found this girl in Florida. His words "I'm sorry you're not good enough. I cheated on you. I hate you and are relationship was a lie."' Dally's face became hot and red with anger. He looks at me and says "you better hold me back at school today" I nod and say "I'll try to hold you back he's only going to be here for the first semester then he's moving to Florida with his family." We reach school and I get out wiping the tears from my locker. My friends Becca and Elizabeth run up to me. They start asking questions like "how are you holding up?" "are you okay?" but the last one catches my attention "have you heard Dallas likes you?" I stop both of them and look them dead in the eye and say "who did you hear that from?" Becca says "I heard that from Dallas he was supposed to tell you . OH SHIT HE HASN'T!!!" Beth(Elizabeth) says "I heard that from Lip(Philip)my boyfriend of 1 month today..." I say "HOLY SWEET JESUS!!! Okay guys we're never going a month without talking to each other ever again." Lip is Dally's best friend a one of the hottest boys in 12th besides Dallas. Dallas Beckworth. My best friend and the love of my life. That's why my breakup didn't bother me because I thought Dally might notice me. I've been friends with Dally since I was 6. Out of this 10 years I've loved Dally for 4 of them. 4 long years with us going through so much shit together. This might be the year he really notices me and that's a good thing. I've always wanted him to notice me. That sounds like I want attetion and maybe I do a little bit. I love Dally and I never thought he would feel the same way. I hear the bell ring and I see the one person I didn't want to see. Regina Coswell.....
