AUTHOR'S NOTE:

So this story is something I have just never really committed to. I mean its been about three or so years and Im just now redoing this whole book, but I really want to try and actually go somewhere with this book. I tend to never EVER finish projects but I feel optimistic so we will see :)

She listened to the sound of airplanes taking off and the sound of rushed feet against the tiled floor of the poor suckers trying to make their flight as she said her goodbye. Her red hair laid on the shoulder of her mother as she tried to engrave the felling of their embrace in her mind. She had never been close to her mother, but she was all she had. Their relationship was one that consisted of yelling and cruel words exchanged between them, but they had their good days too.

She pulled away from her mother when things became a little to awkward and checked to make sure her carry on was still where she left it on the ground. She would have liked to believe that people would have a soul and not steal from others, but from past experiences she learned quickly that not everyone had the same morals as her. She never could wrap her head around the fact that not everyone would return lost items and some would steal them.

"I'll miss you, but it's time for you to go."

Aurora highly doubted her mother would miss her. Yes, she had always bought everything that she needed but she was never emotionally there for and it is too late now for her mother to sat to care for her. Sighing she ran her fingers through her hair and picked up her bag.

"I'll see you soon." And with that she hugged her mother and took the gift that shewas holding out to her. After one last goodbye, she turned and joined the crowd of people. Everyone around her had a different story and a different reason for being in this airport. Her reason? To escape.
