Not A Player Any More

I told you,

that I wasnt going to play.

That i was giving up,

but not letting you win, not ever.

I decided a long time ago,

that I wasnt going to be your player.

 

You can move the chess peices,

you can try to control us,

but the one thing you are missing

is the fact that we arent just castles and rooks and queens.

 

We can think,

and we wont always obey your instructions.

You can try to change what we think,

you can try to tell us what to believe,

but who says we have to believe it?

 

I wont be a player anymore......
