Ares

I have always asked myself if mutes thought more than others. Or less. Until I became one.

The reality is that I dived into indifference. A thousand times, I have wished to be deaf and blind. So I won't hear my parents yelling, shaking me so I could say a word. So I couldn't see the angry tears on my mother's cheeks, the helplessness and the deception in my father's eyes. At first, they believed that talking to me without stopping, I would end up opening my mouth. But their words only slammed in the emptiness, making them crazy with rage and despair. So they stopped talking to me, since I wasn't answering. But me, I didn't care. All I wanted was that we forget me. And a thousand times,  I wished to die.
