All My Fault

So stupid!

After what happened, it was all I could do to keep standing, much less make it back to the hotel. Somehow I did though, and the last thing I remember from that night is curling into a ball in the corner.

So here I am. One week later, March 22nd and I'm still feeling sorry for myself rather than doing something about it. I lost Rome, and it was all because of me.

I made us stay out late.

I brushed off my feelings about seeing that guy everywhere.

I was the reason he suggested we split from the group.

my fault.. My fault... All MY FAULT!

Over the last week I've gotten to wallow in my misery rather than being forced to participate with the class. Probably hasn't helped because I haven't left my room to do much of anything. I haven't eaten much, haven't had any human interaction, and worst of all I haven't bothered trying to find him myself.

I already had a feeling that the police wouldn't be able to help with this. Sure, I submitted a missing persons form, but it seemed like they didn't even try. Guess it's time for me to stop feeling useless and do something.

It was nearly midnight by the time I make my way to where it happened. I take my flashlight and start scanning the street. After only a moment I find a note right where the man had come from before he ran off. On it was an address, and her name written beside it. Might sound cliche, but it was as though it was a clue left by him. He wanted her to follow.

I stand up, barely noticing as I begin walking. That address was so close.... I could find Rome right now, just follow the map. Like a mouse right into the jaws of a cat.

At this thought I shuddered. No wonder I can't seem to feel anything. It's shock setting in. It wasn't a cold like I'd always thought. Surprisingly, it was almost nothing.

Finally I find the address. A normal enough looking place, but looks don't mean much. With a shake breath, I take a step towards the house.

Not much in this update either. Oh well.

Now as for schedule, I'm probably only gonna be able to post when I happen to have a bit of time when I can actually get something done and I feel like it. So still not so regular.
