I don't care if your beautiful lips
Exist out there 'cause I'm wonderless
Why the best can't make it in Hollywood
No more
It's like a long drag taken
Before the smoke hits the white sky
(Like the birds at night)
And it's fake just like the movies
Oh yeah
And I can't wait just to see you again
And your two faces are locked on mine
Had the worst time chasing the thought away
No hope (Oh no home)
Because maybe I'm a fake
Maybe you're to blame
Maybe I'm a star
(Stumbling drunk light)
My mistakes I've made won't leave me alone
Oh no
And if you don't find me on the front page
Find a way to say that you saw me
And if you don't find me in a movie
Find a way to say that you knew me
And if you don't find me on the front page
(You and I got lost along the way)
Find a way to say that you saw me
(But this will end some day some way)
And if you don't find me at all
Then I won't care
(Oh, yeah)
If I could find a place for the holiday
Maybe I would call
You're a payphone away
From the mess that I've become
I'm destroying what I love

I heard him screaming in his soft-high, loud, Mexican voice outside my window at 3 in the morning. He was holding an acoustic guitar and he was in a jacket, one I swear I gave him, and his usual skinny jeans and black vans. Plus the flat-bill he'd been known for. The shirt he was in was from a band I was once in. That's how we met actually, he came to see me play and we hit it off. I gave up the music when I lost my mom, but he had been there through it all. I opened the window and yelled, "What the F*ck Vic? It's 3 AM dude!" He said, "Hannah. I love you and I'm sorry. Even if it's not my fault I'm sorry." That was it. He was gone after that in a mad dash back to his car parked a few blocks away. I quickly got dressed and rushed out of the house wearing this without a jacket.

I ran all the way to Vic's house in the cold, and as I stood at his door all I could feel was exhausted

I ran all the way to Vic's house in the cold, and as I stood at his door all I could feel was exhausted. I knocked on the door while shivering, and Vic answered it. I leaned in and kissed him in a hug. After he had dragged me inside he noticed how cold I was, so he gave me his jacket and made me coffee. We talked some, and then we ended up in bed jut like the old days. The next morning, after he'd made be breakfast before everyone else got up, we were sitting on the couch talking. I told him why I'd left him and how stupid that was, and he told me more about what he'd been doing since I left him. We both were so sorry, and we both wanted to be together to end the pain. He took my hands and wrists to hold them and I flinched. He then realized that he was not alone in the pain and suffering game, and that we both had to work out a lot before we could ever be stable together. After we talked we just kinda got back together and it was so easy. We were together so much, and thins seemed okay until Zach showed up at my place one day and dragged me to his new place and started beating me really bad. Vic had no idea of what Zach had been doing so when he called like 50 times and I didn't reply he was nervous. He tracked my phone and when he barged into the room I was in with Zach, Zach made it look like I was kissing him and meant it. Vic was furious, but as he left he heard the beating and saved me anyway.

When we got back to my place he interrogated me with questions about what I had been doing and why was I kissing someone else. Eventually I broke down in tears and told him who Zach was and how lately he'd been beating me up all because I wouldn't take him back. Vic started to understand and he was a lot more kind to me. He was on eggshells around me for a long while making sure I wasn't emotionally damaged or physically hurt from Zach or myself. I hated this. None of the other guys were this way with me, and it annoyed me. Tony and I would roughhouse and Mike and I would have fake slap fights, and Jamie and I would play death tag like we always used to. But Vic was like a scared puppy around me and it drove me mad. There was also the debate of where to live. Was he gonna live in my place with me like he had once done, or was I gonna live with him and the guys which I had done at some point in the relationship? It was a hard guess. We were also both still overcoming things. Vic was getting over being drunk constantly and over his wrists, and I was getting over the trauma of Zach and of my wrists too. We were both making progress until Vic and I had a fight. I don't even know what it was about, something trivial I'm sure, but after this the fights got worse until we could barely stand each other. We spent more than a month apart, and it ate us away. Life had just gotten good, and then bam, we were fighting and not quite together anymore. I knew the guys were touring in a month, and I was mad because I wouldn't see Vic before they left. I had stopped by his place to get some of my things, and he was standing on the bar top in the kitchen holding his acoustic guitar. When I walked in he started playing a song he'd recently written called Hold on Till May, and I stood there and listened to him play. After he finished he said this:

Once he was done we kissed and hugged and made up

Once he was done we kissed and hugged and made up. I did get to see the guys off on their tour, and Vic even flew me out a few times so I could see him. While he was gone I called some old friends, Maddy included, and said, "Hey. I know it's been like forever and this might be stupid and you might hate my guts for what I did, but I wanna get the band back together and yeah." And within a few days of that call, Our Twisted Ways was back together.

We started work on something we had started but never finished before I broke up the band, our first album

We started work on something we had started but never finished before I broke up the band, our first album. The whole couple of months PTV was on tour we recorded the album and it was great.

When Vic got back I played him one of the test CD's and he LOVED it

When Vic got back I played him one of the test CD's and he LOVED it. The album did so well after its release that PTV scheduled a tour with us and we played together. I was with Vic the entire time, and it was great. By this point he had moved into my place, and that was great. No more fights.
