Two Worlds Collide

Ali was in shock. She dropped her bag and ran to haechan who was standing in front of his grave.

ali: ur- ur here. ur not dead
haechan:
ali: -hits him- you stupid foolish man did you even think about how i would feel?!
hc: im sorry it was just for the best if you believed i was dead
ali: did you even know youre a father -crying-
hc: she's beautiful
ali: she asks abt u constantly
hc: im sorry -hugs her-

ali invites haechan back to the apartment but he declines. he says its not safe for their daughter to know of his revival yet.

ali: so ur just gonna leave
hc: we'll meet again. i promise -kisses her-

ali walks back home. she felt as though that whole meeting had been a dream. she had to constantly remind herself that Her Haechan was back and he was no longer a minor.

months went by and the memory of meeting haechan by his grave almost seemed fictional at this point. their daughter was entering school again and life started. she stared at the photo of haechan she had hung on the wall everyday, hoping one day her love would return. she tried googling him once, but he never appeared. how could she love a ghost man? she never learned his last name...all she had was haechan and that was starting to seem suspicious. she shook her head and told herself to forget this. Haechan would never lie to her, he loved her. They were soulmates.

Soon the days faded into each other and Ali forgot abt haechan each passing day. She felt guilty as deep in her heart, she'd never stop loving him. Bur recently her coworker, Moon Taeil was making her feel emotions she hadnt felt in years. Her daughter would constantly ask ali when taeil was going to be her daddy but ali would just joke and say i dont think hes ready for that. And just like that, Haechan was just a distant memory.

On their 2nd anniversary, taeil planned to propose. Ali said yes and happy that her life was moving forward. She knew this is what haechan wanted, a better life for her and their daughter. she would never stop loving him but she couldnt stay in the past forever. that night, ali awoke to a noise coming from the kitchen. she got up to check the commotion only to find the ghost of dreams.

ali: ur not real. ur not here. this is a dream
hc: -pinches her- this is reality
ali: why. why wait all this time? I FINALLY MOVE ON AND IM FREE AND HAPPY AND YOU SHOW UP WHAT CANT YOU TELL ME
hc: its- its complicated i dont want you involved
ali: what are you hiding?
hc: -catches the engagement ring- wha-whats that?
ali: im getting married. his name is moon taeil.
hc: Moon Taeil?
ali: yes why?
hc: stay away from him. he doesnt love u.
ali: why should i believe u when you wont even tell me the truth?!
hc: i-i- i love you
ali: dont
hc: im in love with you ali jones, id kill the rest of the human population to be with you. and i know i havent been honest but-
ali: no buts
hc: my real name is lee donghyuck. im- im a spy. and moon taeil is the enemy

suddenly there is gunshots and haechan ducks down w ali.

taeil: oh donghyuckie!!! come out come out!!!

ali couldnt believe what was happening. her life as she knew it was crumbling. then an intense fight scene happened. taeil ends up dead. haechan kisses her and promises to never leave again. ali smiles.

Months of blissful happiness pass by. Shes finally together with haechan and theyre a family.

hc: i love u alison jones
ali: i love u lee donghyuck

she goes to sleep that night only to wake up to white walls and coldness. this isnt her room with haechan. where are the photos her daughter drew? she started panicking and screaming. nurses rushed in.

ali: where am i? wheres haechan? wheres my daughter? LET ME GO
nurses: ali calm down calm down let me explain.

nurses: haechan is dead
ali: no he isnt. i just fell asleep with him last night.
nurses: he died in the prison breakout
ali: why are u lying to me?
nurses: im not. you fell into deep grief after seeing his dead body. you somehow put urself in a coma. youve been asleep this whole time. whatever you believe happened after the ordeal was ur dream.
ali: no. no. no no no no no no
nurses: im sorry.
