Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Fred and George were using the extendable ears to listen in on the Order, yet again. Usually they wouldn't be so attentive but today... let's just say that there was an interesting argument going on between Snape, Sirius and Mrs Weasley.

"-she's too young, Severus!" came Mrs Weasley's voice.

"-I get to make the decision's, she was left in my care, Molly. I am a perfectly capable teacher-" Snape was arguing.

"I don't think so, Snivellus! She's a Slytherin and hangs out with you- wouldn't that make her as bad? Having one slime-ball around is enough-" said Sirius' voice.

"Shut up, Black-" said Snape.

"-I'm not saying you're an incapable adult- she's as old as Harry, Ron and Hermione and they haven't joined!"

"-yes but that was your decision! I can't be at Hogwarts and here and still manage to look after her, Molly! You have seven children- nine if you count Potter and Granger! You know how hard it is-"

"-and she'll have the same attitude-" Sirius continued his rant. "-she's a Slytherin!" he repeated.

Dumbledore's voice chimed in. "Sirius, I beg my own pardon for saying this and I plead that you do not take offense, but you grew up in a house of dark wizards, all of whom were Slytherin's, and you are as pure of heart as the next man along. My point is that just because Fay has grown up with Slytherins, no offense Severus, it doesn't mean she'll be evil, again, no offense Severus. It is entirely Severus' choice whether or not Fay joins, I for one think it will be good for her to meet some more people her age, she may not come to all of the meetings but when Severus is in a meeting and she isn't she can stay with Mr Potter, Mr Weasley and Miss Granger." he said.

"Good idea, though I am very reluctant for a Slytherin at heart to be fraternising with those-" Snape began but Dumbledore cut him off.

"Severus," he said in a warning voice. "Fay may join but only on those conditions."

They distinctively heard Snape sigh. "Fine. I will bring Fay along to the next meeting." he said.

"Very well. I'll be in the kitchen." came Mrs Weasley's reluctant and frustrated voice.

"Before we leave, Misters Potter, Weasley, Weasley and Weasley and Miss Granger and Weasley, I sincerely hope that you will put that marvellous contraption down before Molly catches you." he said, looking directly at the spot they were at.

"Oh," "thanks" "Dumbles." came Fred and George's cheeky voices.

"You are very welcome, but call me Professor Dumbles, if you will." he smiled.

"Yes sir," "Professor Dumbles sir." they replied.

"Who's Fay?" asked Ron when they all got to his and Harry's bedroom.

"She's the conserved but smart one. Always friendly, in Slytherin, lived at Hogwarts for most of her life..." Hermione explained.

"Oh, her." said Ron in realisation.

"Dinner!" came Mrs Weasley's voice.

They all trooped down just in time to see Snape's cloak whip out of the door. Sirius was the only one in the room when they came down. "Good job on the ol' extendables. Might need to trick 'Professor Dumbles' next time though." he smirked at Fred and George.

"We try, Sirius, ol' buddy, we try." they replied in unison.

Remus then walked in, followed by Tonks, the auror.

"Moony, Tonks. Staying for dinner?" Sirius asked.

"Nah, Padfoot. We just fancied to stand and watch you eat." Remus replied, sarcastically. Everyone laughed.
