Chapter 1: The Secret

Hi my name is Jordan Krieger and I am a student at Maryland university. My best friends are Cody and Josie. "Hey Josie what's up" Josie doesnt like people very much but she is cool. "Nothing much I don't want to go to school today". "I hated school it was horrible and hard I thought the day would never end when I was at school". "Me either I wish I was done with school it sucks". (School day ends) "Finally I'm glad that is over I havent heard from Cody hold on I'm going to text him and see what he is up to.

Jordan: Hey bro what's up

Cody: Nothing had a doctor's appointment sorry couldn't be at school ☺☺

Jordan: No problem Homie want to go to the park with me and Josie

Cody: Sure I will be there in a second

Jordan: Ok see u there

I looked for Josie but couldn't find her then I saw her with a boy u know what that means. "Hey Josie I didn't know u had a boy friend". [Hits Jordan in the arm] "Ouch that hurt". "Well to bad that's what u get now that's delt with what did u want to tell me". "I texted Cody and he said he would meet us at the park is that ok". "Yeah that's fine". We showed up at the park Cody wasn't there. "where is Cody at". "I don't know he should be here by now". Cody jumped out and scared Josie and I just kept laughing and just watched her yell at him for a while. After that we played around the park I walked home and went to bed. "Today seems like it will be a good day". I went downstairs and made a bowl of cereal. "Hey sis do we have any peanut better crunch". "YES YOU MORON ITS RIGHT THERE SHEEZ". "No need to yell older sisters am I right". I checked my phone and saw I got a text from Josie

Josie: come to school now

Jordan: Ok I'm on my way

When I got there Cody was standing there and three guys around him it appears that he beat them up. "Cody how did you do that". "I take karate but didn't think I was that good It was really easy". "EASY These are some of the strongest people in school". We went to class and after school it was finally spring break and I was so happy. Josie was screaming. "SCHOOLS OUT YESSSS". Josie and Cody came over to my house and we played video games and played hidden go seek. It my seem like a child's game but it was fun as crap dude. Josie me a question I didn't even know the answer to. "Hey Jordan what was ur father like". "I have no Idea he left when I was a baby I think I'm not for sure". I went downstairs to ask my mom. "Hey mom what was dad like??". "He was brave and an amazing man he loved u a lot but he passed away". "How did he pass away by car wreck or choking or what??". "I can't say until the time is right". I walked away confused until the time was right it doesn't make since. I told Josie and Cody and they didn't know either. Josie said her mom was gone to and the same for Cody his dad was gone when he was born. I woke up the next day and asked Cody and Josie if they wanted to go to the carnival in town they both said yes so we asked my sister if she would take us. "Hey Anna will u take us to the carnival in town please we really want to go". "You guys are teenages when will u grow up but fine I will take u guys". She took us there we saw this old man dancing it was really funny we had a blast at the carnival we went back home and they are staying another night. We hung out and when we went out side and we saw some weird figure and it looked big and scary I thought it was going to kill us. Josie was really scared. "WHAT WAS THAT THING". Cody answered sarcastic "If I know what that was I would have told u wouldn't I". "Guys it was probably nothing guys just go to bed". But I just new it was something and it wasn't good. After that creature we spotted Cody and Josie stayed every night and we didn't leave the house at all we just did research. Spring break was over first day back at school that's the day I got suspended. These guys jocks to be more clear 3 of them came up to me and tried to fight me and I took them down in like 2 minutes. I have never took a karate class or any fighting classes In my life I did stuff I never new I could do. I told Cody and Josie and they said that it was weird me and Cody did the same thing and we both did not learn or know those moves we did. "Maybe were like so super awesome ninja dudes or undercover spies". "Shut up cody". While Josie and Cody were going back and forth I saw that creature again the exact one we saw that night during spring break. I didn't tell them because I did not want them to freak out but luckily it went away. Week later it never showed up again during that time. "Jordan do u ever think about that thing we saw or what we did to those guys". "All the time dude I stay up all night thinking about it and researching to see if their have been any sightings of this creature and nothing no sightings what so ever". I thought maybe we were just seeing things or imagining them but something about it felt real and important like it was apart of me or something. About a month later nothing so I assumed it was nothing. "Lets go were all going to ur house right". "Yes let's go were going to try to figure this out I have nothing so far. "What is that thing it's the thing we saw before". "OMG IT'S HUGE". "Josie stop screaming". The monster had spikes in its back and huge claws. Cody used his karate and his strength Josie had quick reflexes and she knew karate Jordan hung back in shock. My mom ran outside. "Mom what was that thing??". "I think it's the right time to tell u the secret about ur father".
