It's two in the morning

And I'm wide awake

It's still raining

And there are words I can't take

We were having fun

All day and all night

We worried none

For we have each other's sight

We looked up at the sky

And stared at the stars

Then you said goodbye

And left me nothing but scars

Those times I recall

As I travel back to the past

And the tears they fall

As the memories pass

It'll be a matter of time

Before I can get up

But it'll always be in my mind

That I need to stop
