"Yeah, I am." I couldn't look her in the eyes. I was blushing way too much! I wanted to cover my red face, but no, she was here. It was obvious that I was super shy. What am I supposed to do now that she is here?
I look down at my hands and then I looked at hers. Her eyes follow my gaze and suddenly, I felt the gaps of my fingers being filled by her tiny fingers.
She didn't have to say anything to make me speechless. It was just me and her in this room alone. How did she get here? Is this the reason why Madeline and Garrett had been acting odd? Were they bringing her to me as a surprise?
"I can- "
The front door suddenly swings open with full force, knocking Silya into me. Her head slams against my chest, and I quickly embrace her, looking up to find my father glaring at Silya.
"YOU!" He starts storming over to us, every step making the floor shake.
"Wait, Headmaster! This wasn't her idea to come here...it was mine!" Suddenly, a smaller figure steps out from the shadow, quickly chasing after him.
Blond curly hair, a voice that made me feel sad just by hearing it...I know the person.
Before I could process what was happening, Frica grabs my father's arm before he could swing at Silya. She pulls him with such a strong force that he stumbles back a few steps.
"It wasn't Silya's idea, it was mine. I had forced her to come with me here." Her green eyes lit up with something I hadn't seen in a while.
"No one can force someone to do something, my dear." My father forced a weak smile, her fingers tightening up into a fist.
"You're right, Headmaster." From behind the shadows, a tall figure steps out of the shadows. I hear his shoes click against the floor. I think my heart was about to stop.
His eyes instantly moved onto me, sharp and intimidating. His hair was copper and his eyes were forest green. He smiles at me, nodding at me.
Who is he?
"I'm right?" My father stops and stares at this guy.
"You said that no one can force you to do something. That means that you also have no power in what these two people decide to do. I mean Silya and Jaylin can do what they want because this is their life, not yours."
"But-"
"No, no, Headmaster. What kind of person would you be if you started to contradict your words? I highly suggest that you stop trying to control your son because in America the legal age for and adult is eighteen or older, which I think he is, right?"
"But they are both here in Japan and the adult age is twenty-one." He smirks a little, seeing that he may have one this battle.
"Headmaster, please reconsider this for a little bit. We apologize for doing this, but the Young Master has truly been trying his best to follow your rules." Madeline steps forward from behind Garrett. "If anyone is to blame, it is me. I lead them to meet with him. I'll take the blame."
No, this wasn't supposed to happen.
My father said nothing. Instead he looked around at the group of people who had assembled before him. Still smirking, he starts moving around, his gazing stabbing everyone in the back.
"I never knew that the actions of my son and this...girl had such an effect to everyone. Remember what I told you about love. It dies out eventually. No matter how much you want it to last, these feelings fade once one of you starts having different ideas. How could you, Jaylin possibly understand love from a girl you spent several weeks with? You threw away a girl who certainly had more money than Silya did. It was obvious to me that Ms. Brown loved you and you had to break her heart. I bet you still like him, don't you, dear?" His head shifts directly to Frica who only looks down.
