Cast Introductions/ Desciptions

This is a book I'm working on, I want to be a writer and this book will give me a chance to develop my writing skills and express myself as a writer. I'm not expecting anyone to read or like this I'm more so doing this for me and putting it up here in the meantime. A lot of this story is not written in present time so its going to be some months behind.

CJ "Nova" Peterson (21)
(Played by Travie McCoy)

CJ is a junior at NYU majoring in Art Therapy and minoring in Music Therapy. He wants to graduate and become an Art or Music therapist and help people struggling with mental and physical illness through the arts. He works at a tattoo parlor called "Scorpion Tattoos" and is the head tattoo artist there. He is a talented artist all around he can draw, paint, rap, sing, play guitar, CJ is gifted. But, CJ struggles with mental illness himself and can't seem to win sometimes his anxiety has been holding him back from becoming a music artist and his depression keeps him down for days sometimes weeks where he won't leave the house. CJ is also secretly struggling with addiction , no one knows this because he is the type of person that can hide things well. He can even hide things from his nosy , annoying best friends. CJ just wants to come out of this on the other side.

Jewel "Jewelzy" Williams (20)
(Played by Sabi)

Jewel is a junior at NYU majoring in Music Theatre. Her dreams are to be on Broadway and win a Tony since she was a little girl that has been her main goals in life. Daughter of a famous supermodel Cleopatra Smith and Rapper mogul dad B-Mac , Jewel has always been in her parents shadow so moving to New York, changing her hairstyle and focusing on music theatre are her ways of branching out from her parents names. She is hurting financially even though she doesn't have to be, Jewel wants to make it on her own and not be tied to her parents forever. Jewel is a singer, dancer, actress not just B-Mac and Cleo's kid. Jewel loves her friends and feels guilty about having a better childhood than them, she tries to relate but sometimes can't. Jewel wants to be a Broadway legend, she just wants to win.

Tehya "YaYa" Cromwell (21)
(Played by BiBi Bourelly)

Tehya is a junior at NYU, she is an exchange student from Germany who is majoring in Music. Tehya has been writing songs since she can remember it has been an escape for her and a way for her to express her true feelings. Growing up in Germany wasn't easy for Tehya and she had to work hard to get to her dream U.S. school NYU. Tehya is the life of the party , she loves to party with her friends and have fun, but too much partying has invaded her mind and has caused her to crash, she is on the verge of loosing her scholarship and has to find a way to pull her grades up and make some money. Tehya never thought she would stoop so low to make money but when you are at your lowest point you find yourself doing things you would have never imagined yourself doing. Tehya wants to be a singer but it seems so far away. Tehya wants to find out if dreams really do come true.

Marcus " Mace" Jackson (20)
(Played by B.o.B)

Marcus is a junior at NYU majoring in  Biochemistry. Marcus really wants to be a Rapper and Singer but his strict parent don't support his dream , they agreed to pay his tuition and get him a place to stay if he majored in Biochemistry. Marcus is great at his major, the best in his class actually but it is not where his heart is. Marcus loves music and spends his free time playing gigs and creating songs. Marcus feels like he can't pursue what he wants to pursue in fear of being cut off by his parents. If you want someone who will make you laugh and think go to him, he is a well rounded guy who can talk about anything, from his top five rappers, Flat earth theories, marvel comics , the corrupt government or his favorite strand of weed, the topics of discussion our endless with this guy. He truly appreciates his friends and wants to grow with them. Marcus wants to be the caged bird that becomes free and sings.
