Ok so your in a group of friends. All of them like something like let's say anime and you don't. If these friends talk about anime and people know they love anime they will just guess you like anime. You could even have NEVER watched an anime or just hate it and they will be like, "She likes anime." "Has she ever watched it?" "No, but all of his/her friends love it and talk about it." New flash! Not all people are the same, and you can't just say that he/her loves what the rest of the group likes.
So don't assume what people like or not
