I enter the doorway of the bright blue house that is my aunts. Aunt Fay is nice, but a little to preppy for my liking. I roll my old, torn apart suitcase into the den and look around. The house was nice and calm, that is until my cousin, Mikasa, enters. Her long black hair stays still and frames her face. She glances over to me.
"You're lucky," she tutted. "You get my room and now I have to move into the attic."
"Mikasa don't talk like that. You've wanted that room ever since you turned 15 and remembered we even had an attic." Mikasa looks over to Aunt Fay and rolls her eyes. She looks over to me,
"So you're mute?" I nod, answering her question. "Mmmm, great don't annoy me." She turns on her heels and runs upstairs. I sigh as Aunt Fay turns to look at me.
"She's like that all the time, she'll warm up to you eventually." Her smile pierces through any thought that I was going to like her. Definitely too preppy. I look around at the small things she has set up. My gaze makes its way to the stairs.
"Oh! You must be looking for you room." I nod. "Up the stairs, it's the first door on the left." She points up the stairs smiling. I nod to her as a thank you, and head up the stairs pulling my suitcase behind me. "Eren!" I turn back. "Hun, you have more bags don't you?" I look in Fay's eyes, smile and shake my head. She frowns and looks at the floor as I turn around and continue up the stairs.
I stand in front of my door. It's pretty. The extreme amount of detail that had to go into it must have taken ages. I gently run my fingers over the divits in the wood. And the doorknob, it's glass. I finally realize how weird I must look to Aunt Fay, staring at a door. I lift my hand and open the door. As soon as I walk in I'm overwhelmed with the smell of perfume. Ugh, Mikasa. As I walk in I memorize the places on the hardwood floor that creak, and how the door sounds when you open and close it. I look around the room seeing the twin sized bed, dresser, mirror, and closet.
The bed has a grey fitted sheet on it and a black duvet covering it. Two black and grey checkered pillow cases over the fluffy pillows. The bed, it reminds me of my house before this. My older brothers. Zeke.
*flashback to two months ago*
We kiss eachother in the moment of bliss. His hand intertwined in my brown locks, my hand gently caresses his thigh. We pull back for breath, I suddenly hear a pound on my door and we both flinch at the noise. Zeke bursts in the room.
"Ere-... who the fuck is this.?" He looks at us in confusion. I glance over at Armin giving him a reassuring look. "No... Eren. I liked you. THEN YOU FUCKING RUIN IT!" He screams at me. What does he mean. I ruined it?
"What exactly is wrong with this? I've done nothing." Armin asks. Zeke's eyebrows furrow. He looks into my eyes and steps forward.
"What the hell do you mean 'What exactly is wrong with this', you're fucking gay?" I look at him nodding my head. He sighs and turn around with his hands on his face.
*end of flashback*
I walk towards the bed and set my suitcase next to the dresser. Kneeling on the ground next to the bed and the dresser, I start unzipping the suitcase. The first thing I see is a notepad, filled with yellow rectangular pages, such as the ones in school, and a pen. I sigh hoping Aunt Fay won't force me to talk...well try to. I search through the rest of my belongings and pick up a sketch book. Damn, I didn't bring a pencil. I stand up sitting on my bed and grab the notepad and pen I saw originally. I start writing.
I look back down at the neat handwriting and get up slowly. Opening the door I realized that this was a weird request. Asking for sketch pencils from a cousin you don't even know. She probably doesn't even have any. Might as well.
I walk over to the wooden latter hanging down from the ceiling looking up. I tap the latter and Mikasa looks down at me.
"Yes?" I look down and hand her the note pad. She studies the writing and then puts the note pad to the side. She gestures for me to come up. I nervously climb the latter looking around. The room looked fucking cool, granted it did smell like incense, but it was cool. Mikasa is digging through a small dresser type thing and pulls out a pencil case throwing it to me. "So you draw?" I nod catching the pencil case, she smiles lightly. "Good to know we have another drawer in the house." I open the pencil case seeing the multiple pencils and a few fine liners. I glance back up at her giving off a fake smile. I've gotten good at those lately.
Looking back down I start to go back down the latter. The floor boards creak as I walk back to my room. The door was slightly open due to me not fully closing it. I walk in and sit on the hard floor grabbing my sketch book. I flip through the pages seeing the multiple drawing I've done before. I stop at one of my mother, placing a hand over it. I rubbed it feeling tears stinging the corners of my eyes. I quickly rub my eyes trying not to cry. Flipping to a new page, I start drawing.

Sorry this took ages, I had a hell of a lot of things going on with my summer. I'm going to try to write more...don't expect much.
