The Guard hadn't dared gone hunting yet, but from what Jinny had seen during their expeditions, there was not much game in the surrounding woodland. It'd be troublesome if they weren't able to sustain themselves; the Grounders were still too hostile and they were too vulnerable to establish any sort of trade. In the meantime, rations seemed to be the only thing still holding them afloat. That, and moonshine.

Jinny and Bellamy had been talking about nothing, giggling to one another like schoolchildren again as they sat elbow to elbow, when Clarke plopped herself down in front of them.

"Hey, got a minute?" she asked, placing an elaborate drawing of a map on the tabletop.

They took one glance at it and nodded their heads in acknowledgement. "So what do you have in mind?" Jinny asked.

Clarke immediately launched into a thorough explanation of the facility, having previously memorised the general layout of the mountain. She pointed out important pathways and crucial entry ways as well as points of interest along her map with a forceful resolve. Jinny and Bellamy listened to her thoughtfully, but there was one underlying flaw in her plan that they could both see.

"Okay, so tell me again," Bellamy said.

"It's a labyrinth," Clarke reiterated. "We got to the dam through this tunnel." She tapped the position on her map. "It's all connected to the mine system, that's our way in."

"Are you sure we can get past the Reapers and the Mountain Men?" Bellamy asked doubtfully and she gave a disgruntled frown

"Are you sure we can get past the Reapers and the Mountain Men?" Bellamy asked doubtfully and she gave a disgruntled frown. "I swear to god, if your mom doesn't sanction the mission soon, I'm going by myself."

"With a rocket launcher and a bomb," Jinny added.

"Why do I need the both of them?" He turned to her with a frown and she shrugged nonchalantly.

"You won't be by yourself," Clarke assured them with a smile. She glanced upwards, past their shoulders, and her face suddenly fell as she averted her gaze back down to the map.

Jinny and Bellamy turned around at the same time with nonexistent subtlety to find Finn jogging out of the station's main entrance. He paused to look around, finally catching sight of them and walking over at what seemed to be a leisurely pace.

"Guess the inquisition's over," Bellamy remarked. "How's Finn doing anyway?"

"I haven't talked to him since we got back," Clarke replied, moral conflict reflected in her tone. "I don't know what to say. He just kept shooting."

"We're at war, Clarke," he told her. "We've all done things."

"Bellamy's right," Jinny started in an attempt to soothe her. "He did what he thought he had to do."
