As fresh, warm blood oozed through his claws, the wolf stared with extreme hunger keeping his piercing eyes fixated on his victim. He gripped fiercely with his jagged teeth and he ripped open her stomach as her blood streamed down his thin pink lips towards his imposing jaws and down his neck.
Unaware of what was surrounding it, her body shook uncontrollably. His wide mouth devoured every last bit of meat satisfying the hunger of its owner, for the time being. Thick black strands of hair clung to his cheek whilst he continued to tear open more of the body and hungrily consuming more and more. Sharply, his beastly eyes darted to and fro as he looked around to see any signs of physical activity. Once again, he fiercely ravaged for another thick, red organ to feed on. Little red riding hood lay lifeless in a pool of her own blood on the stony pathway, helpless and abandoned to a sudden death.

"Off you go Mr Goat, hope you get well soon with the ointment I gave you!" she kindly shouted out to the goat. Red was always helping others but sometimes, she needed help herself with the trouble she got into at home. Her mother loved her so much and that's why she never told her off for doing the things she did. Above her, she could hear birds tweeting in the large trees as she skipped along the narrow pathway of the woods. As she stopped to help a fallen animal, she heard a noise behind the bushes and as she approached it, out came something with teeth as sharp as knives and eyes as big as saucers focussed towards red. Advancing towards red, the wolf menacingly blocked the pathway in front of her. He growled "where are you heading young lady?" Reds quivering lips could only stutter the words, "p-p-please don't hurt me". The wolf retorted "these are not places for young girls like you to be walking alone in - it is very dangerous". Red was too frightened to say anything as her lips clamped shut and her skin turned pale white. Running away seemed pointless as the wolf was too big and strong. Her situation looked very desperate. She looked around to see if there was anything to protect herself with from the wolf. She saw a fallen branch lying on the grass but it was too far away from her grip. On the other side, the wolf thought about the right way to attack his poor, defenceless victim. His black eyes scanned her little body which resembled a perfect, tasty meal for him. He wondered whether to start by pouncing on her throat or somewhere else. There was a slight pause. Red in turn was in shock and could sense the worst was about to happen. Red tried desperately to think of the happy times she and her mum had spent together since her dad had passed away. She could picture her garden and the sanctity of her house, her mother's signature noodle soup which red always thought was the best thing her mother had created. "what's the secret ingredient ma?" she asked politely." That's for me to know and for you to find out".

Then everything was interrupted as the wolf pounced on his prey...
