Could it really be true? Were my dreams finally becoming real? Were Justin and I finally going to be parents after months and months of trying? I was currently sitting on top of the sink inside Justin and I's bathroom beside our bedroom with a pregnancy test in my hands, very much positive. Justin came in through the door, but at first, I didn't notice him, and for a while, he didn't notice the positive test in my hand. "Are you okay?" he asked me as he came to stand in between my legs. I suppose Justin assumed I had yet another negative pregnancy test in my hand since I had tears streaming down my cheeks, but that sure wasn't the case. I handed the test to Justin, and it took him a few minutes to realize it was positive. "Wait, is this for real? Are you actually pregnant?" he asked with hope written all over his face. I nodded my head pulled him closer. "This is amazing, baby! Why are you so upset?" he asked me confusedly, and to be honest, I had no idea why I was suddenly this upset. "How are we going to do this? What about your job, you're going on tour in a few months? What if you're not there when the baby arrives?" My questions were many, but Justin seemed to have an answer to all of me. "We're going to be just fine, baby. We haven't announced the tour yet, so I'll postpone it until the baby is born, and then you'll both come to join me on tour. It might be hard, but we'll make it work, I promise," he explained, then he pulled me in for a hug, kissed my forehead, and started laughing. "We're going to be parents," he said in disbelief, then he kissed me passionately.

Fast forward eight months. I've never been this tired in my entire life! I feel huge and I wobbled everywhere I went. Justin has been so sweet throughout the entire pregnancy, soothing to my every need. I was currently lying-in bed looking at our latest ultrasound, where my beautiful baby boy was very much visible. "I can't wait anymore, baby, you've got to come out now so I can smother you with kisses," I said to my bump. Suddenly a peal of small laughter was noticeable, which meant Justin was standing inside our bedroom, where he heard everything. "Talking to our baby boy again?" he asked with a smile while moving closer to the bed. "Yeah, I just want him to come out, so I can go back to being my normal size again, but also to be able to kiss him and love him," I explained to him. "Baby, I know you're tired of being pregnant, and you're being a little impatient, but I promise you it's going to be all worth it, and you're beautiful just the way you are. To be honest, I've never found you more attractive than right now," Justin sweetly cooed to me. "You're so sweet, Justin. Thank you for getting me through this," I told him, then I pulled him down for a kiss. "Come on, let me run you a bath. Mom will be over in a few hours," Justin said after pulling away from our kiss. I nodded and slowly made my way out of bed. To my surprise, Justin had already run me a bath, which meant I could get in right away. After stripping out of my clothes, I slowly sank into the bathtub with a sigh. After my very relaxing soak in the bathtub, I got out and got dressed in a pair of loose joggers and one of Justin's shirts, since none of my shirts fit me anymore.

I walked downstairs and was met by the loving smell of spaghetti. I loved spaghetti, so I immediately went into the kitchen to check up on the dish and make sure I could eat some of it soon. When Justin heard me walk into the kitchen, he came over to me and kissed me. "How are you feeling?" he asked me while caressing my cheek. "It's like my bump is way lower than usual, so it's straining my back a little extra today, otherwise I feel fine," I told him with a smile. "I'm glad you're feeling okay because mom is on her way and she's very excited to see your bump," Justin explained. I smiled at the thought of seeing Pattie again. The last time we saw her was when I was still in my first trimester. We hadn't seen her since due to Justin being such a busy man, traveling the world to promote his new album. "It's basically twice its size now since the last time she saw me," I laughed, "But I can confidently say that I'm not going through this ever again" I laughed. Justin pouted and placed his hands on my hips. "Of course, you are, we're gonna have at least seven more kids," he joked. My eyes got wide at the thought of having to go through this seven times more, which Justin noticed. "Never, Justin! If you were the one that had to carry a baby inside you for nine months, you would also put your foot down," I told him with a groan. "Please, baby, can't we at least have two more, just two more" he pleaded while gently caressing my sides underneath the shirt. "How about we have this talk after I've been in labor?" I asked him with a smile, to which he agreed.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, so Justin and I made our way out to the entrance to greet Pattie. "Hey Pattie," I greeted as we opened the door. Pattie immediately put down her bags and covered her mouth in surprise. "Wow, you've gotten so big," she exclaimed as she placed her hands on my bump. Our baby boy reacted to her hands right away and sent a kick back to Pattie. "Aww, he already knows his grandma," Pattie awed, then she looked up at both me and Justin. "Hey, you two, I'm sorry for ignoring you, but my grandson is my main priority," she joked, then she pulled each of us into a hug. Our boy kicked once again, to which I flinched a little because his kicks were getting to my lower back. "What's happening?" Pattie asked with worried eyes. "He's just kicking, and when he's first gotten started, he won't stop preliminarily," I told her with a smile. Pattie sent a smile back and placed her hands on my bump once again. "I can't wait to meet him," she lowly said while caressing my bump. "I can't either," I told her, then Justin and I invited her inside. Pattie would be staying with us for a few weeks to help us get the right start into parenthood. Unfortunately, Justin had to leave shortly after our baby boy's birth because of some demo-shows back in the states, and I didn't feel like traveling with a newborn baby a few days after I had given birth to him, so Justin had to go alone. "Dinner is ready," Justin announced after an hour of us sitting in the living room talking about all the amazing things that were to come as soon as our boy was born. "Have you decided on a name?" Pattie asked as we walked into the dining room. "I wanna name him William, but Justin's isn't really hooked on the name, so I think we're just going to wait to pick a name until we meet him," I explained to her as we sat down. I immediately dug into the spaghetti and poured a lot onto my plate, only to have Pattie and Justin stare at me. "What?" I asked him while digging in. "I'm eating for two!" I then told them, when neither of them said anything.

After dinner, we moved back into the living room, where I cuddled up to Justin. I suddenly felt really tired, so I slowly closed my eyes and decided to listen to Justin and Pattie's conversation. That was until I felt a sharp pain in my lower stomach and back, to which I sat up and groaned. At first, Justin and Pattie didn't notice my discomfort, but when I grabbed Justin's hand and squeezed it tightly while also shutting my eyes tightly. "Are you okay, Y/N?" Pattie asked, to which I shook my head. "I think I'm having contractions," I told her. Justin gasped and started to freak out, and before I could tell him to calm down, he had already gotten up from the couch to gather our things. "Justin, sit down!" I sternly said as the pain slowly faded. "Remember what the doctor said, we're not going to the hospital until the contractions are five minutes apart, have lasted a minute, and have been going on for an hour or more," I reminded Justin. I couldn't believe how clear my mind was at this moment. Justin and Pattie stared at each other for a hot second, then they both turned their attention towards me.

After a few hours, my contractions were finally five minutes apart and lasting a minute, so Justin called the hospital and announced that we would be there shortly. He also had to remind them that no one could know about the birth since we wanted to be the ones telling his fans the good news. Justin packed the car, while Pattie sat with me inside the living room making breathing exercises along with me. My water hadn't broken yet, but according to the nurse we talked to on the phone, it wasn't uncommon, so with the feeling of relief, Pattie and Justin got me into the car and drove towards the hospital.

Another six hours passed, but then suddenly I was holding our son in my arms while sighing in relief. "Hey baby," I whispered to my beautiful boy, who wouldn't stop crying. Justin leaned down beside me, kissed my forehead, and then stared down at our son. "You did so well, baby," he told me and placed a kiss on my lips. Since it was in the middle of the night, Pattie had gone back to our place to get some sleep, so Justin went to call her to tell her to come back and meet her grandson. Afterward, I handed Justin our son to let him hold him for the first time. "Do you have a name for him?" the midwife asked as she looked up from the papers in her hands. I looked at Justin, who didn't seem like he had heard any of the words the midwife had said. I shook my head to the midwife, then I looked back at Justin who suddenly looked sexier than he had ever done. "We don't have a name just yet," I told the midwife, to which she nodded and left the room to let us be alone for a while. Justin came over to the bed and sat on the edge of it, where I was able to also see our son. "Look, he has your eyes," I told Justin while gently caressing our son's cheek. "Just like you wished" Justin smiled. It was true, my only wish was for our son to have his eyes because his eyes were the first thing I fell in love with when I first met him.

▸ Aww, how cute! I can't wait to have a baby on my own one day!
