First of all, here are some tips to save your sanity with this mind-boggling instrument:
1. Be patient; like I said, the French horn is very hard, and it will take practice. Some strategies for patience are taking a break when you feel frustrated and coming back to it, breaking down the music you are trying to play into sections, and during your warm up, doing some breathing exercises and thinking positive thoughts.
