The Ocean Waves

I finally woke up from a long sleep. I looked at my alarm clock. It was 1:00am. I sat up from my bed and looked around while raking my light strawberry orange straight hair through my hands.

I let out a sigh and got out of my bed. I went straight to my door to look at the beautiful waves outside. Since I live right near the beach. I love the ocean.

I went into my bathroom to take my shower. After I put on a tank top and shorts with flip flops since its always hot in California.

I went to my door leaning on the door frame watching the waves. I saw the same guy who always come to the beach every morning. I hide behind the door but poked my head out to see him.

I am really antisocial. I don't have any neighbors or friends other than my family.

He was looking for something in the sand but I didn't know what, maybe some shells. I have a jar full of pretty shells. I smiled at myself.

I saw that he grabbed something shiny from the sand. He left after that and went somewhere else. I looked around to make sure if anyone was around and ran to the shore. I took of my flip flops and put my feet in the water. I smiled to myself.

After a few hours of enjoying the beach I walk to the town's park and read my book. When I finally reached the park I saw this little girl who was all by herself. I needed to know if she was with her parents. I went up to her.

"Hello" she put her attention on me and smiled.

"Hi" she said with excitement.

"Why are you all by yourself?"

"My brother and uncle just went to get me some ice cream right there" she pointed to the ice cream trunk that was close to us. "My name is Lexi"

"Nice to meet you Lexi" I smiled. "My name is Victoria"

"Your very pretty ,Victoria"

I giggled "thanks cutie" I squeezed her cheeks. "Well I have to go. See you around Lexi" I walked to my reading place while she was waving and saying bye to me.

I could hear their conversation. "I made a new friend ,Uncle Josh" Lexi cheered. I was sitting on a bench which was behind a tree so they couldn't see me.

"You made name friend? Who?" He said happily.

"She's a pretty girl named Victoria"

I couldn't stop smiling.

"Victoria? That's a pretty name for a pretty girl" I bit my lip. They left the park and probably went home.

A few more hours later it was 6:54pm. I walked back home. Took my shower and went to bed.
