"Yes mom, I'll be fine away from home! Ok... I'm at my dorm room now. I'll see you later! Mom, I have to go now. Bye! I love you! Yes, I will call you after I unpack. Yes, I promise to go to sleep early tonight. Ok, bye!" I said breathlessly to my mom as I set down my phone. I grabbed my key which I got from the front counter on the first floor and I opened the light brown door. The door opened up to a grey walled room with old hard carpeting where the small yellow couch was. In the kitchen, was a brown marble surfacing with white cupboards and accessories.
"Oh Hey! You must be Jenny Hydrangea!" A towheaded girl said from the couch.
"Yep that's me!" I said as I began to walk in a bit at a time.
"You must be..." I took some papers from my purse and looked at them quickly.
"...Sarah Gills!" I said excitedly.
"Yep! I guess this is going to be our home for the next 4 years! Well, unless we get held back or pushed forward, which I don't think will happen. Hahaha!" Sarah said. I noticed that she had a thick silver necklace with a some sort of symbol on it. It looks like Sarah has already been here for an hour or two because she was already unpacked and was watching television. So I looked for the bedrooms and found my side. It was obvious that the other one was her's since it had close all over it. I finally began to put my clothes in the glossy oak wood drawers and I placed my shoes by the door. I made sure I packed my bags for my classes tomorrow in case I wake up late. After five hours of talking about ourselves with Sarah at the kitchen table, it began to get dark and my mom said I should get rest for the many classes I will have tomorrow. Now, Sarah and I were sitting on the couch. She was watching television, again, while I was reading ahead in the science book to know what the teacher was talking about just in case she has some weird accent or something. Sarah turned off the television suddenly and looked over at me, thinking hard.
"Hey Jenny... some of my friends and I were going to hang out in the park tonight. You want to come? You don't have to but I'm just giving you the opportunity." said Sarah looking unsure of what she said. A looked up and thought for a second about what my mom had said to me.
"Well... my mom told me I should go to sleep early tonight for school tomorrow." I said. I didn't feel like going anyways, but I had a weird feeling about the event.
"Come on! Please! They will love you!" Sarah begged over and over and over.
"Ok, ok, ok... I'll go..." I said unwillingly.
"Yay! Oh my gosh! They are going to love you! I can just feel it!" yelled Sarah ecstatically. Sarah rushed over to her shoes and grabbed a jacket off the coat hanger very quickly.
"Come on! We need to leave now if you want to meet them!" Sarah said finishing putting on her jacket.
"Oh wait now?" I said confused. I stood up to try to get information out of her but nothing was happening. Sense I didn't want to be alone. I put on my shoes and jacket, but out of nowhere, Sarah grabbed me from behind and shut the door closed. I didn't know what was happening, but whatever was, I didn't have a good feeling about it.
