It all started under the mountain, where Starflight had first started crushing on Sunny...
*flashback of book 4*
"Sunny... I love you" Starflight confesses, looking hopefully down at the little golden dragonet. Sunny turns red, and in the book it says that Sunny confesses platonically right then, but, then why would she turn red? She must have feelings for him. It takes a lot of guts to tell a dragon your feelings like that... Especially for Sunny.
*flashback ends* Okay then... Let's get to the story!
In Jade mountain....
Starflight was busy organizing his scrolls, Fatespeaker eyed him carefully. "You don't need to do this" said Starflight, turning his head in the direction of Fatespeaker. "I'm just looking out for you, you never know with Darkstalker around these days" Fatespeaker answered worriedly, Starflight paused. "What I mean is, you don't have to be that worried for me, it's not like I'm some helpless dragonet, doing everything wrong" Starflight pointed out, Fatespeaker shrugged. "I'll leave you too your business then" she answered, and walked out of the library.
Starflight was relieved to have her gone, now he could organize in peace. But suddenly, like that, his peace was disturbed. But this time, a pleasant disturbance, it was Sunny. Sunny skipped over to Starflight and beamed. "Hey Starflight!" Sunny said cheerfully.
"Hi Sunny!" Answered Srarflight, arching his head in Sunny's direction. The short golden dragon pulled out a scroll from underneath Starflight's claws, and read it out loud, "Secrets of Darkstalker" she read, then turned to give Starflight a confused look.
"Why about Darstalker?" Sunny asked.
"Well... You know.." And Starflight gave Sunny the whole lecture about how Darkstalker had returned, and so he got interested in learning more about him. Sunny smiled as he finished, "thanks for the story Starflight!" Sunny said beaming, and just as Fatespeaker came back, Sunny kissed him.
