"My number."
His face lit up as he whipped out his phone and handed it to me. I typed in my digits and handed back to him. "Great, I'll text you after the show." He smiled a smile worth a million dollars. I did the same back.
I turned back to greet the next fan, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Hunter staring at me with his mouth slightly open and in a frown, but all I could do was smile.

"Ashlynn, please sit down. I need to do your hair." Rosalina Harvo, one of the members of our hair and makeup crew, called out.
"Coming!!" I quickly finished taking my makeup of with a makeup wipe and ran over to Rosalina's chair.
"Yea, hurry up, Ash!! We're professionals and we're trying put on a professional show!!" Eric teased.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled as I tilted my head back into the sink so Rosalina could wash my hair.
Before our shows, everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off. After we take pictures with the last fan, we are immediately rushed back to our dressing room. We have to get our hair and makeup redone and get into our performing clothes. Then, we do some quick vocal warm ups and get our microphones. We have to do all of this in 25 minutes, which I used to think was impossible. But once again, I've been proved wrong.
Rosalina wrapped a towel around my dripping, wet hair and squeezed all of the water out. Just as she was plugging the hair dryer in, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and read the latest text message.
"Hey, Ashlynn!! It's Ryan. Just wanted to send a message so you could save my number. Good luck with the show!! I can't wait to see it!!"
'Aw, how sweet...' I was grinning from ear to ear just as Hunter walked in. His stolid expression changed into a frown when he saw me looking at my phone and smiling. We made eye contact, but I looked away quickly. We hadn't talked since I had told him about Marissa earlier that day.
I turned my attention back to my phone and typed out a text back to Ryan.
"Hey, Ryan!! Thanks so much!! I hope you like it.:) What are your seat numbers?"
Bzzzzt.
"You're welcome! I have no doubt we will.:) we have 725A and 726A."
"Are you at your seats rn?"
"Yep"
"Ok. I'm sending something to you guys. ;) Keep an eye out for a redheaded security guard named Phil."
"Ok will do."
I looked up from my phone and called out, "Has anyone seen Phil?"
Phil was our head of security and a natural comedian.
"Yea, he was talking to Rachael in the green room the last time I saw him. I'll go grab him for you." Eric offered.
"That would be great, thanks." I said.
I caught a quick flash of Hunter's tan abs as he buttoned up his red flannel shirt. He glanced up at me, and I quickly turned my head the other way.
Then, Rosalina snapped me back to reality. "Ashlynn, can you please keep your head still, I'm trying to straighten you hair."
"Oh, sorry." I muttered.
Out of the corner of my eye, Hunter smirked.
'Darn it, he saw me looking at him.' I thought.
