"Cisco, meet me in your lab in 10 minutes, we need to talk"
"Okay, what for?"
"Just meet me there"

"I looked at the Meta-Human results list.." Barry said, making it obvious he knew something.
With a clearly worried facial expression, Cisco replied "Oh, y.. you did? Okay..?"
"Does she know? Does Caitlin know!!!!?", Barry had started to raise his voice, getting increasingly worried.
"No, she doesn't", he paused for a deep breath, "I decided not to tell her, after all the effects do not appear to be taking place."
"What are the effects meant to be??"
"Her DNA has been mutated to contain a new strand of 'data'. This, in principle, should be able allow her to make a substance out of these strands, and gives her many other abilities related to it. She should be able to harness the power of coldness, able to create ice and if she chooses, freeze anything she comes into contact with."
Hearing this information, Barry's heart beat and breathing greatly accelerated.
"We have to tell her, it's not fair to keep it from her", he said after a few seconds of silence.
"Yeah, okay, let's go now, better sooner than later."

"Caitlin, we have something to tell you", Barry told her, standing in the cortex with her and Cisco.
"Okay... What is it?", Caitlin replied, slightly worried.
"So remember when we did the blood tests on everyone after the Particle Accelerator went off, well..."
"I know. I have powers. I was affected. I wasn't going to tell any of you, I didn't want to cause panic whilst we have metas running around the city. I can create ice, and freeze things at will, as well as other abilities. I have done all of the tests myself, my vitals and body are all holding up fine. I'm so sorry that i didn't tell you earlier, and Barry, I'm sorry that you didn't find out from me."
Barry and Cisco were just stood there, slightly shocked by the reveal. Barry was the first to speak up;
"That's fine, and makes perfect sense", he gave a smile, "But it's time you got some help like you helped me".

It was a few days later, and everyone was at STAR labs working with Caitlin. Her and Barry were constantly sharing looks, as if they both wanted something to happen. As Caitlin lay on the medical bed for another blood test, Barry sat on the edge of the bed and put his hand on her shoulder, rubbing it with his thumb to comfort her.
After a few minutes, Cisco walked in hiding something behind his back. Getting out of the bed, Caitlin stood up and walked over to Cisco, who then revealed that he had made a suit for her. It was complete with a colour scheme of blue, black and white, and a pale blue mask covering her eyes. It included gloves, which according to Cisco were engineered to make the flow of ice more accurate.
After a few minutes, Caitlin came out of the changing room wearing her complete new suit. Barry couldn't help but think about how amazing she looked in her new costume. He then joked that she would need a 'superhero nickname', which instantly got Cisco on the run for a nickname, but Barry beat him to it.
"How about Frostspark?"
"I love it", Caitlin replied, with a smile on her face.
Frostspark, Barry thought.
She creates frost, and is the spark of light in my life.
