Chapter 9...
Next day sumo got ready on time at 6 as discussed but it was 6.30 but still shravan didn't turned up. She can be late anywhere but when it comes to her work she would like to be punctual...
It was 6.45 but still there no sign for his arrival then her patience was dwindling with every passing minute, she started pacing TK living room furiously
"Beta shant ho jaa chandigarh hi to jana hai pohach jaoge kyu etana tension le rahi ho" rachana tried to pacify her but all in vain
"kya shant ho jau masi haan kya shant ho jau muze usaki baat hi nahi sunani chahiye thi muze...aaj to agar muze late ho gaya to us shravan ke bachhe ko nahi chiodungi" she scrowled
"suman pahali baat to tum late nahi hogi abhi bahot der hai aur dusari shravan ke bachhe to tab honge jab tum logo ki shadi ho jayegi" babulal jested but in response he got a dead glare from sumo and his smile faded
"Do you really think ke mein majak ke mood me hu....if you think so then you are perfectly wrong" sumo frowned
"are ye kya ho raha hai kisape etana ghussa ho rahi ho?" nanu got worried by seeing his grand daughter so peeved off
preeti nudged rachana who was standing next to her "masi aaj lagata hai jiju ki shamat aane wali hai, sherani ko ched diya unhone ab kuchh nahi ho sakata" preeti whispered
both clasped hands on their mouth to hide their smiles
"are haan preeti ab to bhagwan hi bachaye shravan ko, woh bach gaya to ekhad do to pakka hi marenge esake haatho" rachana jested
Sumo's phone buzzed flashing shravan's name, she answered
"kal to bada bol rahe the ki mein late nahi hota kabhi aur aaj kya hua ek raat me kya badal gaya?" she reprimented
she heard response and her expression soften, everyone stared her hauntedly
"ohh...lekin tumhe batana chahiye tha na call karake ....okay i am ready aa rahi hu bye" she ended call
"suman kya hua tum aise..?" nanu perplexed with her sudden behavioural change
"actually nanu woh shravan ka call tha, woh usake gadi ka tyre puncture ho gaya tha raste me usi ke wajah thoda late ho gaya, mein nikalati hu bichara wait kar raha hai" she took her handbag and started departing swiftly
"lekin suman abhi to tum etana ghussa thi usase ab etane jaldi man gayi" rachana teased her
"aur haan di agar abhi jiju ke jagah koi hota na to pakka aap half murder kar deti hai, jiju hai to sara ghussa ek min me gayab wahh jiju i became fan of him after all he is the only person who can handle you...love you jijz" preeti joined rachana
"tum log chup karogi ya tumhara hi half murder kar du aise bhi aaj mere haath me khujali ho rahi hai" sumo faked anger only to hide that pink color which was spreaded on her whitish chicks and left before she face any more tease
Shravan was waiting for her outside TK, when she came out he waved his hand and she glided swiftly to passenger seat. Shravan started car and they headed to their destination

"kitna late kiya shravan muze late ho jayega na?" she whined as they almost waisted 2 hours to get rid of that heavy delhi traffic
