It's another surrealism piece, surprise, surprise!
I'm really proud of this drawing, though the flowers aren't actually very good individually. I feel like I did pretty well on the shading for the neck and shoulders but my dad was insistent on the fact that it was completely out of proportion. Because of this, I can't appreciate this as much as I'd like but I still think it turned out well.
I know some people aren't a fan of this work, but I feel like this style is meaningful and a part of me so if you don't mind, I'll carry on posting these.
As you can probably tell by the title, this piece is inspired by the idea that we should think pretty thoughts. The flowers represent the person's soul/innermost being, and shows they are good people. I kind of like the idea of using faceless people in my work (though I will continue to learn realism)
And! I've been working on some anime style drawings that will e up soon! So that's something to look forward to!
