Spencer's P.O.V

Meridith walked in without saying anything or a nurse leading her, the girls froze and looked at eachother, Spencer's parents seemed as confuesed as they did. Her gaze turned from Emily to Aria to Hanna and then finally to Spencer

"Hello" she said like they all knew her

"Umm, i'm sorry but do we know you" Veronica Hastings (Spencer's mom) walked towards her

"No, but i'm Merideth, the new lawyer of the rosewood department" she offered her hand foward for Veronica to shake but Veronica looked at her like she didn't hear her right

"But i'm the--"

"May I speak to you outside" Meridith interepted, Mrs.Hastings walked outside, Mr.Hastings followed suit

"What going on?" Aria spat

"I don't know?" Spencer said in a worried tone, she took a deep breathe

"Look Spence, whatever it is, it's going to be fine. We're here for you" Aria grabbed her band the hand and gave it a light squeeze, Spencer winced "sorry"

"It's okay" Spencer was about to say something until her cellphone beeped, she looked at the screen and was in complete shock

UNKNOWN I.D: I never thought you'd be the one with finacial issues but you know what they say Karma's a bitch and so are you..

Spencer looked at the other's in shock, Aria looked at her like she knew what had happened but Spencer ignored her. It was probably someone who had sent her that text as a prank (even though it had been 2 years since Alison's murder and it was still on the news) but there was something about the text that made Spencer think it was Alison....

Flashback

"Ughh" Alison groaned at her cellphone screen

"What is it?" Spencer asked fixing her braclet

"Hanna posted another ad on twitter about a bake sale she's holding, I mean iv'e gotten enough proof that she's broke"Spencer shifted herself.uncomfortably, Alison looked at her curiously

"What? Are you hiding something from me!!" Ali got up exitedly

"Okay but you can't tell anyone" Ali gave her a sly look

"You're secret's safe with me" Alison winked at her

"Okay" she took a deep breathe before starting "My dad had a case against Ashley Marin (Hanna's mom) and she lost, so all the money they had was gone" Alison gave her a sinister look "but she dosen't know that so i'm begging you not to tell her, it will ruin our friendship" she pleaded

"Fine but sooner or later she's going to find out and it'll just break her heart" she gave spencer a disgusted look, trying to make her feel sorry for herself.

Because that's how Ali treated them, she treated her like her slaves...
