Sinner~ A Desperate Race For Revenge.

Ch.1

They pulled apart.

"Aarushi!" Aarushi again heard a familiar voice behind her. She turned and saw Vedanti there smiling widely at her. A few moments later, Mugdha arrived there with a huge 'thali' in her hand, followed by Sameeksha and Nivi. Rohan too, trailed behind his wife, Nivi. Vedanti, Sameeksha and Mugdha were also pregnant. Vedanti was 5 months pregnant whereas, Mugdha was 3 months pregnant. Sameeksha was 8 months pregnant. Aarushi smiled back at all of them.

She went and one by one, hugged everybody. Mugdha placed a 'tika' on Aarushi's forehead and stuck some grains of rice. Aarushi blinked as a few grains fell down. Mugdha chuckled. Mugdha then went to Sumedh and Amit and placed 'tikas' and rice grains on their foreheads too.

"Chalo, ab puri dopahar bahar dhoop mein hi rehna hai ya andar chalkar lunch bhi karna hai? Bhai mujhe aur mere chote se baby ko bahut bhook sata rahi hai!" Yudhveer appeared from inside. He came and wrapped his arms around Sameeksha's round stomach. "By the way, Congratulations Aarushi! In do bandaro ko meine pehle se hi wish kardiya tha bas tum hi reh gayi thi." Aarushi smiled and thanked him.

"Tum apne bacche ki baat kar rahe ho? Mera bacha na jaane kahan kahan dhoop mein ghumkar aa raha hai...apni Mom ki speeches sun raha tha...bechara kitna thaka hua aur bhooka hoga." Siddharth said taking Aarushi's right hand in his. He brushed his lips along her soft knuckles. She smiled.

"Chalo phir andar! Mere aur Amit ke baby ko bhi bhook lagi hai okay?" Sumedh defended. Everyone chuckled and went inside the house. It was massive and decorated very tactfully. Siddharth had personally looked after all the little details of the house.

Aarushi sat down on the sofa. She was very tired. Her eyes were drooping. The boys being the gentlemen that they were went and started setting up the table. Nivi helped them out. The rest of the girls plopped down on the sofa next to Aarushi.

"Tum khana khakar thodi der so jao Aarushi." Sameeksha advised. She was a gynaecologist, she could easily read Aarushi's body language. Aarushi hummed in response while closing her eyes.

"Oye, guys! Food's ready!" Nivi said. All of them went to the dining table and began eating lunch.

"Siddharth, aaj Shaantabai nahi aayi? Aur ghar ke baaki sab naukar kahan hai?" Aarushi asked suddenly realising that no one was home.

"Arrey, elections ki wajah se sab chutti  par hai." Siddharth replied.

"Oh."

"Waise aaj tum logon ne uss Randhir Mahajan ki party ko acha sabak sikhaya." Rohan said taking in a bite of food.

"Haan yaar! T.V. par uska interview dekha humne...itna udaas chehra!" Yudhveer laughed. The others chuckled.

"Par dekhna, yeh shaant nahi bethega...he will revolt." Amit said. "Isliye humein prepared rehna chahiye."

"Baat toh sahi hai...Veda, mein soch raha tha ki tum, Mugdha aur Sameeksha idhar Siddharth aur Aarushi ke ghar mein hi raho...humare ghar ke aas paas abhi bahut khatra hai...Aarushi's Women's Wing was not a big problem for our opponents, isliye idhar kuch khatra nahi hoga...tum log idhar safe rahoge..." Sumedh suggested.

Aarushi became excited. "Arrey! Ofcourse! Raho na mere saath please!"

"Uske liye tum ghar par honi cahiye ho!" Sameeksha joked. Aarushi playfully pouted.

"Uh...I don't know...tumne Sid se poocha?" Vedanti awkwardly asked Sumedh.

"Arrey? Mujhe kya problem hogi? Ofcourse you guys are welcome here! Mujhse poochne ki zarurat bhi nahi hai..." Siddharth said.
