Chapter1 - Our Past

Age 5

A raven haired boy hid behind his older brother as he stared into the sky blue eyes of his parents, friends son, who was a few months younger then him. In the bright and warm house was Minato Namikaze, Kushina Uzumaki, Mikoto Uchiha, Fugaku Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze.

"Now Sasuke don't be shy, say hello to Naruto" his mother told him as she motioned towards the blonde. he walked from behind his older brother hesitantly and approached the younger blonde, hand stretched out and a slight blush among his cheeks.

"H-Hello Naruto, I'm Sasuke." Naruto gave a large and warm smile, stretching out his hand as well to touch the others. As soon as the two boys made contact a shock was sent through there bodies feeling as if it was only them left in the room full people. They stared into each other's eyes, blue meeting onyx.

July 24th

That was the first encounter of the two lovers, and they knew they belonged.

Age 6

In a beautiful forest on the 10th of October two young boys stood under a cherry blossom tree saying there vows for an illegitimate marriage.

"Naru I promise to protect you and hold you dear for the rest of my life " (A/N awwwwe) the raven looked lovingly into the smaller blondes eyes.

"And I will give you all the love I can" the blonde said staring into the ravens eyes with the same amount of love.

"That is our promise" the two said in unison as they shared a small yet sweet kiss.

Age 7

Naruto and Sasuke were in the park playing together like they always do, when 3 older kids walked up to them.

"Hey brats" the one in the centre said with a smug grin on his face.

"Can we help you?" Said the uchiha with cold stoic eyes, making the blonde blush at his sudden seriousness.

"Don't talk to us like trash or we'll take that little friend of yours" the girl on the right said with a sharp and high voice.

This sparked something inside Sasuke, he stood up in front of Naruto protectively. One of the boys went to swing at him but Sasuke didn't move not even a flinch. The boys fist was grabbed by the eldest Uchiha before it made contact with Sasuke's face.

Naruto let out a sigh of relief as he hugged Sasuke from behind crying into his shoulder.

"Don't, Don't ever risk yourself for me" Naruto cried. Sasuke turned around and hugged Naruto back.

"Shh it's okay I'll always protect you even if I die, it's a promise."

Age 8

"Promise me to always stay by me, when I need you" said a blonde boy solemnly as he laid next to a raven haired male at exactly 12:01 o'clock on the night they first met. July 24th

"I promise and I'll always need you. Naru I have a present for you" the raven held up two chain necklaces, on it held both the uchiha fan made out of black and red diamonds and the uzumaki swirl, made out of orange diamonds. He gave Naruto one of the two identical necklaces and held the other for himself.

"I-It's beautiful sasu I love it, I love you."

Age 9

"Naru i love you soooo much" the young raven whispered to the blonde as the said blonde was asleep. He stared at the blond with so much love in his eyes anyone would think he was looking at his partner he's been with for centuries.

He snuggled closer towards the blond thinking nothing could separate them, he was wrong.

Age 10

Naruto and Sasuke cuddled together in a car as Mikoto and Fugaku drove to Narutos house to drop him off after his play date with Sasuke. They arrived at there house, only to discover a horrid sight.

Naruto was now wide awake running into the house while Mikoto tried to stop the blonde from this sight as Fugaku called the police and ambulance.

Naruto cried out an heart breaking scream as there on the living room floor of the once warm house laid the dead bodies of his parents, cold lifeless eyes staring at there son, Naruto sobbed uncontrollably into Sasuke's chest refusing to look at his blood soaked parents before him.

After that it was all a blur for Naruto, the police came and asked him questions, took the bodies, told him there was a relative of his about 5 hours away, his godfather they said. He had to go there immediately as the killers could be after him as well. He had an hour to pack and say good bye.

He was done packing and ready to say good bye to Sasuke, he was a sobbing mess, he lost his family and might never see the one he loves ever again. He walked up to Sasuke hugged him tightly as Sasuke whispered gently in his ear.

"Promise me we'll meet again, Naruto"

"I promise, my love"
