The space station was rotating very slowly, with the earth as blue as it normally would be. I floated back into the airlock door, hoping it would open easily. The door felt cold, like the rest of space was. I knew this moment would be what stirred mankind to know what was above the atmosphere of the planet I call "Home". I locked the airlock so I could be safe entering the space ship.

"Heya, Oscar!" spoke Amy.

"Hi Amy." I spoke in a nice voice. The station we were on was working on a certain type of alien life that we found floating in space. What we knew so far, is that it can't be burned, and grows very slowly. We were happy to have some evidence there is life up here, but maybe it should stay up in space, where it belongs.

"So, where is Mike?" I asked. My legs did a mini spin in the weightless gravity.

"He was checking on the subjec-" A loud bang stopped her talking. I looked around, only to hear a yelling and some screaming. The alarms all went off, blaring red lights in every room. I went back to find my space suit, and put in on. No one questioned anything, just floating and screaming. Amy followed with what I was doing. She slid her clothes on. We opened the lock, and continued on our way to the room where the screaming happened. My eyes were getting fuzzy while floating through space. I looked to my left to see a huge ball of fire. One room was set on fire on the shuttle. I was slightly panicking. The other parts of the station were breaking apart. My leg was slipping slowly, and the bars were warming up to be burning hot. I walked up to the top of the station, or the bottom. The station broke into many pieces, flinging me off the bars. I landed on a piece of sheet metal, floating endlessly in space. I saw Amy flying straight towards me, like a bullet. She banged on to the metal, in the same position with me.

"Oscar!" She screamed. I could not breathe at all. My voice had just seeped out into the endless space. The station blew up and I could no longer felt alive.

"Oscar, are you okay?" Amy screamed once more. The crack in my helmet was way too small for even me to see. I closed my eyes and drifted into space.
