Ares sighed, "Rhea, you're starting to worry me. Do you need my help? Whatever it is, I can be there in a heartbeat."

"No!" Rhea almost shouted down the phone, "Stay in Italy, have fun, I'll see you in a few weeks, okay?"

"Okay."

"I love you, Ares."

"I love you too, Rhe."

Rhea joined the three men in the middle of the courtyard as Kol spoke, "Freya is tracking your sirelines now. So it won't be long which works for me, I could use a good fight before I hit the road."

"Well, we do have an advantage." Elijah started, "No vampire may enter this stronghold as long as the deed remains in Freya's name."

"So, what? We hide in here while the enemies mass at the front gate?" Kol asked his brother, almost offended by his comment.

"Well if they are so determined to die at our hands, let them come." Klaus said with a shrug before turning to Rhea, "You're quiet, not in the mood for a fight today, love?"

Rhea rolled her eyes, "When it involves saving your ass yet again? Not really."

"Ah! There she is. Nice to see married life hasn't turned you soft." Klaus said with a smirk.

Before Rhea could reply, the four of them heard a struggle upstairs— but before any of them could make a move to get to Freya, a crowd of vampires closed in on them all.

The true shock of the moment, however, was Marcel entering the compound— looking more alive than ever before.

"Never thought it would come to this. But as always, The Mikaelsons made my choice for me." He remarked.

Klaus, who had paled considerably, asked, "Marcel? How?"

"How are we in your home? I've friends who can nullify a deed, forclose on a property like that," He snapped his fingers for effect, "Or did you mean.. how am I not a rotting corpse?"

"I thought my friend was dead, and yet here you are. So send these fools away, and let's talk. You and me." Klaus offered. Kol reached out for Rhea, pulling her slightly behind him, shielding her body with his own.

"Is that relief I hear? Really? If I hadn't been one step ahead of you, I would be at the bottom of the river." Rhea's gut filled with dread, she had a feeling she knew exactly how Marcel was still alive.

Elijah stepped forward, "Marcel, your anger is with me. I'm the one that's responsible for this crime against you."

"One thing I learned sticking around this family, Elijah, you take on one of you, you are taking on all of you— even Rhea, when she's not the one plotting against Klaus. So, these guys, Klaus's sirelings, they're here to bear witness today." Marcel didn't show a trace of remorse for what he was doing, and that sent a wave of fear throughout the four Mikaelsons.

"Are you planning to put on a little show, Marcellus?" Kol sneered, holding on to Rhea just a little bit tighter.

"Damned sure I am. The Fall of The Mikaelsons. And guess what, the show has already started."
