She held onto the railing of the stairs as she walked down them she was covered in bruises. Terrified of what was going to happen to her next. She was shaking, and with her free arm, placed it around her stomach trying to calm down. When she got down to the living room and sat on the couch, she pulled her knees to her chest and laid her head down and cried softly. She wasn't sure where she was... or even who she was. She remembered one thing and one thing only, his name Mark. She felt like she knows more about him but she wasn't sure why or where she knew him.

She heard footsteps coming down the stairs and her eyes widened. She quickly got up and tried to figure out somewhere to hide. She didn't want him to find her she didn't want it to happen again. "Delilah come here right now, we need to talk. NOW!" Mark yelled the last part startling her. She hid under a table that had a long table cloth over it by this time she knew her name. Delilah. But she still needed to know where she was and why she was here. It was all very confusing for her.

She heard Mark's footsteps become louder as he got closer to her hiding spot. She bit her lip to keep herself quiet along with short breaths from her anxiety. "Delilah I suggest you stop hiding before I make you regret it." Mark said sounding agitated. Delilah took a deep breath and got up from under the table thinking what ever was going to happen next wouldn't be as bad as what happened to here a few hours ago..

She looked at him and looked down "W-What d-do you w-want?" She asked trying to make it sound like she didn't lose her memory and was just a little scared of him in stead of how she really felt which was terrified.

"Why are you down here and not upstairs like where I told you to be?" Mark asked as he raised an eyebrow at her. She looked around trying to come up with an excuse that he would believe, but she didn't know him and what he would believe and what he wouldn't. So she decided to go with a generic excuse that she thought might work.

"I-I was thirsty so I came to get a glass of w-water." She quickly stated as she was hoping he would believe her. He quickly thought about it and nodded believing her lie.

"Next time ask and I'll get it for you." He said and ran his hand through his hair "you're not supposed to be down here. I thought I told you that already many times." She wasn't sure what he was talking about she had only been here for a few hours or at least that's what she remembered. She looked around at the walls and there were pictures of her but she wasn't alone mark was in almost every picture with her...
