Kitty and I having been building a small friendship through the help of the science project. Every time I tried to work with her she pushed me away. She soon had to give in the get an A. We would always work at my house. She makes up obtuse excuses as to why we can't go to her house. Every time I question her about working at her house her eyes go dark. Though she tried to hide it I still saw her shake. I avoid the question as much as possible now. Why did she hide her home life from me?
