One Of Those Nights~ Shawn Mendes

chapter 1~ Plot

Hey:) I'm Meghan, I'm 16 years old Canadian girl. I'm in grade 11. I'm a cook and I love baking cakes. One of my favorite  to make is cheese cake cause every time i smell that sweetness coming out of my oven it takes me back to when my grandma and I used to make it together. Yeah, it was a happy time. I am also a cheerleader and I'm good at it even though I could be more coordinated. I am also aspire to becoming a singer but for now i still can't high notes and when i get asked to sing in public i generally panic i don't know why, " you sang it a million times in your room"   the voices spinning in my head. Still I don't do it. I never have so no one ever heard me besides me Shawn Mendes poster hung on the wall of my room. I have 2 older sisters and a younger one. My best friend is Carlos, he means the world to me and i'd do anything for him.  My parents aren't always at home. While my workaholic mom is always on work meetings around the globe, my father, the other way likes to spend his time meeting his mates at the pub to drink or to watch matches. I actually enjoy being home alone cause while my mom is a workaholic woman my dad is an alcoholic man. He always arrives home drunk. When i hear his footsteps approaching my room I lock the door and so he starts banging on it while screaming: " Get out of your room you useless piece of shit" . I'm alone, unharmed and sad. Still in my room I'm safe. It's like my safe place. The place where I can be what I want without being judge. Shawn's poster over my bed watching over me. I let lines of  breaking through the shutter of the window, They divide my room into a pentagram, house of the music none will ever hear. When I think my dad went away he comes back stronger so i hide in my closet hoping tonight nothing happens.
