Dear John,

I don't really know how to start this. I've never written one of these before.

It's Valentine's Day. Of course, you already know this, you do know the date, you're not stupid.

As it's Valentine's Day, I thought I would do something special. However, I... don't know how to do this.

I thought about writing a song. But I can't sing, and you hear my violin almost every day. So, I'm not going to write you a love song.

I thought about painting you a picture, but I can't paint either.

Some people say music can paint a masterpiece. I think I'll do this for you.

I'm just wondering how. I guess we'll find out when I paint for you.

I love you, John. You're the first person I've ever loved. I just... want you to know that.
