A young girl was walking slowly to her home. Her black long hair was a mess and her soft purple-gray eyes were filled with tears. She sniffed softly before gently wipeing her eyes with the long sleave of her uniform. Her skirt, which was a bit below her knees, was dirty and had grass stains.
"I hate school! Why do I even have to go? Its not as if anyone would miss me. Everyone thinks I'm weird." She sobbed softly as she walked with her head hanging dejectedly. Her cheeks were flushed from crying.
She finally looked up to stare around her neighborhood. All the houses were plain but elegent. The flowerbeds were blooming with red and yellow roses. The two kinds of flowers were the only kind alowed to be planted. The Grand Queen only had a fondness for the color yellow and red. Any other types of flowers were ripped from their roots if seen in public.
The young huffed in anger. She feircely blinked her eyelashes to still crying. She hated crying but she couldn't help it! Nine-year-olds can cry, right? She sighed. She suddenly stopped when she saw that one house had hundreds of red and yellow roses. She stared at them with fury. "Yellow and Red aren't even pretty colors! They're too bright and hurt my eyes! So what if I don't like those colors! They don't have to throw me around because of it! Those bullies", she ranted," have no right! Its not against the last Or anything to hate those weird colors!" She shook her head, her long, raven hair swooshing about.
She looked one last time at the roses. The people who life there must be really devoted to the royal Family. Don't see why they would be, they're mean! She continued walking and was happy to see that her house was only a few blocks away. She jumped as she heard a light rumble. She looked up and saw that rain clouds were rolling in.
" I better hurry, Or else Mamma will get mad if I get went!" She panted as she started speed walking, her small legs pumping foward. Ten minutes later she reached her house. There was a black, bard fence surrounding the house hold. The outside of the house was painted and light cream color, not bright red Or yellow like other houses were to please the Grand Queen.
The little girl quickly opened the fence using a light drop of Brown liquid. Her mother did not belive in the new system where you now had to use an Electricaly Lightened key. She did not belive them to be ' safer' despite the institance of the Crimsom Courps.
Ever so slowly, the little girl watched as the brown liquid slowly hardend before evaporating and blowing away. The black haired child watched it swirl in the air, before finally disappearing. She steped in one the gate opened, the opening perfect for her size. Depending how much Brown liquid you put, would depend on how big the gates opening would be.
She walked on the path and reached for the doornob. The dornobs were espeacially made for the owners of the home. All you had to do was send a light shock through it using an air pulse. Every family had a different Air pulse so the system was safe.
The door opened and the girl carefully steped in, knowing her mother hated a dirty floor. She shut the door behind her with a soft creek.
She looked at the hall and that that it was dark, no light coming through the windows because of the weather outside.
She walked towards the end of the hall and saw that the kitchen lights were on. She steped to enter but than glanced down at her uniform.
It would surely bring up questions. Yet she did not want to worry her Momma. She thought it over for a few seconds before finally making up her mind. Just as she was turning towards the hall that lead to her room, her foot got caught in the leg of a small corner table.
She crashed to the ground and the beautiful glass vase full of flowers that were laying on the table shattered on the floor.
The young child slowly picked herself up to her knees and looked at the limp flowers on the floor. The water surrounding them in a puddle was shining like blood. As if flowers had blood.
