Broken

Broken Hearted

I woke up realizing I have to get ready for school. Then I realize I'm alone in my bed. He was no where in sight. I started to frown. I pulled on a long silky turquoise shirt and some black jeans.

I rushed down the stairs as of if I could care less about my breakfast and found a note from mom.

Sorry honey, work had to call me in early so i will probably be late coming back home to. I know you don't eat breakfast but i left you a granola bar on the table in case you get hungry. Love you.

After I read the note I heard a knock on the door. I hope it's Evan if not I'm going to be really mad. I open the door and it is him. I instantly light up. He smiles to but i realize it's not the same smile he always has. Not my crooked smile. Hmmm. I decide to ignore it.

"Hey, you took off this morning." He saw the dissapointment on my face and said, "I had to change my clothes and get ready for school." I'm so dumb I should've realized that.

Me and Evan were walking down the street like we normally do but instead were walking hand in hand. We walk by Hanna's house and she meets us on the side walk. She says, "Aww, I knew you guys would get together." I instantly light up and blush but Evan hasn't exactly asked me out. I start to panic. He see's the worry on my face and decides to keep walking. Hanna mostly filled the silence with talking and I just listened most of the time. I was too mesmerized by Evan to notice anything.

We were soon starting to catch up to Ally's house and that is when I said, "Hey Hanna I need to talk to Evan about something important, can you walk with Ally today." Hanna nods but I can tell she knows something is up.

Me and Evan walk silently side by side for awhile until he stops and says, "There is something I need to tell you." Instead of going to school we sneak of in the tree's and talk. Somehow I already knew he was going to say something bad. I just had a feeling. "I talked to my family about you, and the thing is all of our family is moving. We cant be together." I instantly go cold. I let go of his hand. If he expects everything to be ok it's not.

I say with all my power, "No. You can't leave me. No. I won't let you." His face went paler then it already is. He says, "Listen, this is for your safety and your protection. We have enemies and you could die. I won't let that happen. So  I have to leave you. I want you to find someone else who is safer for you." I look in his eyes for awhile. And I can't read them. He's trying not to let me see the truth. I can't tell if hes lying or if he's telling the truth but the point is, I can't stand not being around Evan. He is everything. He's the one that keeps me breathing. Hes the one who made me happy again. And now it's like all over again. Except this is different.

This is the love of my life.

I remeber his words lingering in my head as he let go of my hands to turn away and leave me. He says

An angel cannot love a monster.The angel is way more perfect then to be with a monster and beast like me.
