The Known and The Unnoticed

Chapter 2

<Candy POV>

Adeline put her feet up on the desk and started playing on her phone as soon as the teacher said to plan for our projects.

Guess I'm going to have to start...

My mind drifts to the last history project we did.

<Candy POV>

I walked into my history class, apologizing to the teacher for being late because we had an early soccer meeting, again.

I sat down at my desk just as the teacher announced we were gonna be doing a project.

"We're doing a group project!" She exclaimed.

The teacher called out names to be assigned, instead of letting us pick. She liked doing that, I can tell.

"Candy and Bella," The teacher said when she got to my name.

I had no idea who Bella was. It was my first day back to school and there's already someone I don't know.

How exciting! I thought to myself.

After she dismissed us to get in our group, I got up and looked around.

I saw someone walk towards me after talking with the teacher. She was wearing the school uniform, a white shirt, a short red plaid skirt, knee high white and red socks, and a black hoodie over it.

Great, another 'I do all the work' project, I thought.

Most people around here don't like doing the work. She looked like trouble anyways.

She approached me with a annoyed look.

"Hi m-"

"Yeah yeah, I know," She cut me off and just waved her hand.

I frowned and sat next to her. The teacher explained what our project was. I looked over at the strange girl I was paired with.

What's her deal?

<Bella POV>

"Candy and Bella,"

Who the heck is that?

I walked up to the teachers desk and asked who my partner was and she pointed to a girl with long orange hair wearing white shorts, ruffed up sneakers and a red shirt with a white ten on it. Her hair was up in a high ponytail.

Another person that's going to make me do all the work. Great.

"Hi m-"

"Yeah yeah, I know." I interrupted her, sitting down.

She sits down next to me after giving a glare and the teacher begins to explain the project.

Apparently, we're supposed to make a poster with bullet points and pictures that go with them.

Sound fun? No. Not at all.
