First, the mixed color eyes got it. Whether it was mixed blue-green or hazel-brown, whatever multicolor were eliminated.

Next, the grey eyed people got it.

Then, the green eyes.

Then the brown eyes.

And blue eyed people never got the virus.

It doesn't make sense to people, and it still doesn't make much sense today. But people assumed blue eyed people were the reason for this. They started this virus, to kill everyone except their kind off.

This is why we kill them. Because they killed us.

Well, not everyone.

All the grey, gold, violet, or whatever other colored eyes are gone. There are no more people on this earth with those color eyes, and never will be. Not even a new born has gotten these colors to this day. They are gone forever. But, for some odd reason, about one percent of green eyes are left.

And I'm one of them.

I'm the only one in this entire building with green eyes. It's so rare, and also strange, why green eyed people didn't go like the rest of them. The majority of brown eyed people survived, and nobody knows why that happened either.

This is why Devin is always on my case.

"See, if you just calm down, it's not so bad." I hear him now, as he laughs while I'm a living person trapped in this coffin. I didn't even realize I've been holding my breath for so long. My fear turns into anger, and I wish I could just wrap my hands around Devin's throat and end his life.

He would be asking for it. He made me a killer.

My dad died when I was only ten. My father had grey eyes, my mom had green eyes, and my sister? Blue. When my dad died, my mother and I tried to get my old sister, Caitlyn, to a city where blue eyed people could be safe.

My mom died on the way there.

Miraculously, I didn't get the virus. My sister and I made it to a city, and that was the last time I ever saw her. I was on my own for about two years until one of Devin's men captured me. They were amazed to find a green eye, it's so rare to even see one. But five years later I'm now the one capturing and killing people. I don't want to, and I'm sure many people here feel the same way, but if you don't, you suffer the consequences.

"Okay, times up."

Immediately my eyes are blinded by the bright light above me, but I quickly crawl out of the coffin when Devin opens it, legs wobbly as I stand back up. I don't dare look at Devin, if he realized I had been crying, I'd be right back in that coffin, probably for the rest of the night.

"Now you know that it's possible to spend an hour and a half trying to kill a blue-eyed under this kind of condition," Devin says.

An hour and a half I was in that coffin.

"Get out of here-" Devin pushes my back and I stumble forwards. I open the door and shut it forcefully, taking a big breath of relief. I walk down the long corridor, and when I turn the corner I see my best friend, Sebastian, or Seb, leaning against the wall. He looks up and sees me.

"Geez, that took forever. What was it this time?" He asks. It's a routine now. I've lost count how many times he's had to wait for me.

"A coffin. He put me in a coffin-" I say, fighting back tears. I continue to walk, and Seb struggles to keep up with my pace.

"Now he's just running out of ideas." Seb mumbles, and I couldn't agree more. Devin has done so many different types of punishments to me, he doesn't know what to do anymore.

"That was almost two hours-" Seb says quietly.

"He thinks I'm not working hard enough."

"You passed your quota today!"

"He thinks it's too easy for me." I say, and Seb curses under his breath.

"You barely got the extra one. He's a dick, that's what he is. I'm going to beat his ass-"

I let Seb go on his rage, because he does this almost every time. He knows what Devin does to me messed up, but he doesn't have that problem. Seb is just like anyone else here. He's large; big muscled with normal brown eyes. His hair is the exact same color as his eyes. He blends in with the crowd. Hell, the only reason Devin knows Seb is because he's my friend.

"Want to get anything to eat?"

"No thanks," I say, "going to get some rest."

"I understand. See you bright and early?" He asks, and I nod. "Like always."

He drops me off to the bunks, and nobody is there. Everyone is eating, but I'm too worn out and shaken up to eat. I lay on my bunk, but I can still feel the coffin all around me, locking me in, taking my breath away. I sit up, covering my face with my hands, forcing myself not to shed a tear.

But I gasp as someone forcefully yanks my arm.

I stumble to the ground, and immediately look up, and see Devin again. Didn't he just let me go?

"Get up." He says, and I do.

Shit. Did he see me cry? Did he see...anything?

I stay silent. I'm afraid if I talk he'll beat me to a bloody pulp. I follow his heels as we walk down the corridor, and I look at the ground as we ride an elevator up. But when it opens, Devin grabs my shirt. I'm yanked closer to him, and I look at him in the eyes. His eyes are fixed on my green ones.

"Behave." Is all he says.

As we continue to walk, I can't help it.

"What's happening, sir?"

Devin stops in front of a door, takes a breath, and looks at me.

"Some other leader wants you. Bad." He says.

And he opens the door.

Hello!!!

WELL, A NEW BOOK!!!

Since I FINISHED my other series, The Four, I've decided to write another book :)

This one is also going to be filled with a TON of action! I hope you enjoyed it so far, and it'll start to pick up and get better soon!!

Please vote, and comment what you think about this story! What do you think about the main character, Casper? (And no, this is not the Casper from my other story, The Alliance. I just wanted to use this name again)

I know, I know, the whole "blue eyes brown eyes green eyes" thing might seem a bit weird, but hell, I'm doing it! And no, I have nothing against blue eyes, especially because I have blue eyes myself!

Thank you readers :)
