Chapter two

***oh my gosh! last chapter's point of view was Shin, not Jin! Sorry for any confusion! anyway, here is chapter two! vote and comment***

Chapter Two

“Shin-sama, it’s almost time for lunch. Will you be eating inside or on the terrace?”

I sigh and stand up straight from looking at the gardens roses. “The terrace, it is a beautiful day. Is mother or father going to be here this afternoon?”

“I’m afraid not Shin-sama.”

“Very well, you may leave me now.”

They all do as I say and I continue to walk around the garden. The sun is very bright today and birds bathe not too far away in a fountain. Butterflies fly around me and Sakura flowers blow into my hair. I put out my finger and a few birds climb onto them singing.

I hear someone clearing their throat and turn around quickly, the birds and butterflies scurrying away. I smile brightly when seeing Jin appear out of the bushes.

There is a faint smile on his face as he gets closer to me. “Good afternoon Shin. I see you are enjoying the weather.”

“Yes I am. It is a nice day, and the Sakura are blooming.” We walk far away from the watchful eyes of my workers and wander around. “I wish you could join me for lunch…”

He looks away from me and sounds mad. “You know that isn’t possible Shin.”

My heart pains and I blush looking away. I smile and watch the ground. “You’re right.”

Farther away someone calls my name getting closer. “MASTER SHIN…”

I sigh and look to Jin. “I’ll see you tonight Shin. Enjoy your lunch.”

“Thank you. I’ll see you later then.” I walk away and look back as he disappears into the bushes once again. I sigh while eating my lunch and my “friends” from school appear.

“Hey Shin. We’ve come to join you.” They each say sitting down while I sip my tea. I look to my butler who bows and gets everyone else tea and food. “What have you been doing so far today?”

“I have been in the garden walking around.” I finish eating while the others try to strike a conversation with me. “I am done eating. When you are done my butler will show you out. If you wish to stay a little longer, you may. Have a good night.”

I leave the room to the darkening garden quickly. How could I spend five hours with them eating lunch? I will have to shower and do my homework soon. Then of course go to bed and wait for Jin.

I do as I planned and when I get to my room Jin is already there. “Jin!” I am shocked.

He quickly turns around and has a very confusing face behind his slight smile. “Sorry I came earlier Shin… I just wanted to see you.”

I blush and pretend to do something else while my heart beats uncontrollably. “It’s okay. I was coming to wait on you anyway.”

It is silent and I look up at him. He seems distracted as he watches me. I give him a questioning look and he jerks back into reality smiling. “Sorry, I have had a long day.”

I lie in my bed and he sits next to me. He still has that distant look. “Are you okay?” He is silent. “What’s wrong?”

“Do you mind if I stay here tonight, I will leave the first sight of light. I can’t go home tonight.” Just those few words and I can tell I shouldn’t ask. I won’t even question him. I nod. “Thank you.”
