"It's nothing," Sandstorm shook her paw. "It's just a little wound. Doesn't hurt." The sand pelted she-cat spit on Foxleap. "It's pretty obvious mouse-brain!" Sandstorm laughed. Foxleap shook his fur until there was no trace of Sandstorm.
"Furball.." Foxleap muttered.
"Oh I'll show you what a furball is!" Sandstorm hissed. The she-cat hurled at Foxleap, continuously laughing. "You want to call me a furball again?"
Foxleap laughed. "No, but you are a ninny."
The two laughed, jumping at each other like kits.
"Help..!" There was sound, no louder than a whisper. "Please!" And it was the voice of a male.
"You hear that?" Sandstorm twitched. "It sounds like a tom."
Foxleap heard it. He knew who it was, but he wanted Sandstorm to himself and didn't want her to be with "the noise". "No." He shook. "What is it.?"
"Sounds familiar." Sandstorm meowed impatiently. The she-cat ran towards the noise. The noise was under a rock. She was about to lift it up when Foxleap screeched.
