hey this is ch 2 (YAY), once again sorry for any spelling or grammar errors and please enjoy!

------------------------------ begining of part 2----------------------------------------------------

"Where am I?" I moaned to myself, searching for a way out.

When I had finally got up the nerve to leave I had snuck my way into the forest, thinking I knew it like

the back of my hand. I had ran for miles, and now it was almost too dark to see.

I was exhausted, dead on my feet, but I couldn't stop and rest, I knew I wasn't the only living thing in

this forest. For all I knew Robert was looking for me. Or some wild animal that wanted to eat my flesh off my dead body.

I heard the snap of a twig behind me and spun around. There was a shadow, barely visible in the

darkness, but I saw it.

I turned and ran as hard as I could in the opposite direction. After running for about 5 minutes

without hearing another pair of footstep behind me I glanced back. That was all it took for my foot to

catch on a protruding root and send me sprawling.

As I hit the ground my head whip-lashed back and struck the packed earth with a jarring impact.

All I could do was gasp in pain before a swift and stifling darkness overtook me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~the next morning~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I awoke to the sound of voices. It sounded as if they were arguing; I winced as I remembered the
day before. Running until I was exhausted, hearing the snap of a twig, the shadow, then running
more until..... What had happened next?
I sat up, leaning against the tree behind me, when my head touched it a scorching pain started.
The pain started in my head, then spread throughout my body.
First it went to my lungs and throat that I had used so thoroughly the day and night before, then to
my arms, with hundreds of little cuts that had been inflicted by the branches and vines I had not
bothered to pushed aside in my rush to be away from my bastard of a step-father, finally the pain
made it to my legs, sore and throbbing after all those hours of running.
But what hurt the most, almost as much as my pounding head was my ankle. I tried to move it only
to have it hurt more, but it wasn't broken, I knew what a broken bone felt like all to well.
"You sprained your ankle" a deep masculine voice said from above me. I gasped silently as I
looked up into the most beautiful amber eyes I had ever seen, set into the face of an angel.
