(ch.1) picking up a friend

Jessie's pov

I was in the middle of a fantastic dream about being a famous rockstar until i heard the magical noise of BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP my alarm clock telling me to wake the hell up and get ready for my first day of highschool as a sophomore. I got out of bed and walked towards my bathroom, i took a shower, brushed my teeth and combed my hair so it was spikey and not flat because my hair looks HORRIBLE flat and i love my hair spikey. I walked over to my closet and grabbed my usual clothes, a pair of blue jeans, a black t-shirt, my pair of air jordans that my mom got me for my birthday last year

And my silver chain that i bought on me,my moms and my siblings vacation to new york last year, my dad couldn't go because he was in dublin ireland visiting my grandma who was horribly sick at the time. Once i got ready i walked downstairs to see my mom and all 7 of my sisters eating breakfast, my mom was taking a drink of her coffee when she noticed me " good morning sweetie " she said happily causing all sisters to look in my direction and smile " mornin " i said walking into the kitchen and grabbing an apple " so are you riding with us to school in the van or are you walking with your brother? " my mom asked getting up to take care of her plate and coffee cup " ill walk with jackson i need the exercise " i said half serious half joking " what do you mean you need the exercise, you have a 6 pack and muscles, and you lift 450 pounds everyday after school for 2 hours straight, in my opinion i think you need less exercise " my older sister cassie said getting out of her chair " i didn't ask for your opinion " i said smirking which pissed off cassie because she hates it when i act like a smart ass, even though shes older im stronger and taller then her, technically im taller and stronger then everyone in my family since all of the girls are under 6ft tall except for my dad who is 7ft tall while im 6.7ft tall. I was getting ready to take a bite out of my apple when i heard a knock at the door " that must be jackson cya later mom " i said giving her a hug while she gave me a kiss on the cheek, i started walking towards the door when i heard
" hey! What about me? " i heard my youngest sister jazzy who was 5 years old " and us? " the rest of my sisters said, i sighed and walked back towards them and after 6 minutes of giving hugs i said bye and walked outside to meet jackson " sup bro " i said walking out the door to meet him " took you long enough " he said with a smirk and a slight chuckle " whatever are we going to pick up rosy or is she playing sick to go shopping " i asked taking another bite out of my apple " she was going to fake sick but then her friend mya got pretty sick from food poisoning so they decided to cancel " he said as we began to walk towards the school " oh.. What'd her friend eat that made her sick? " i asked while taking another bite out of my apple " i don't know some weird pizza her brother made in cooking class " he said putting his hands in his red hoodie that matched his hair and eyes " ah i see... Hey do you mind if we pick up Phoenix today his dads truck broke down and his mom is still on a business trip? " i asked as we got onto the street where rosy lives " sure i don't mind " he said as we approached rosy's house " wait here i think her dad's still home and i don't need him yelling​ at both of us " he said before walking up to rosy's house and knocking on the door, he waited about 2 minutes before a girl the same age as me opened up the door and hugged him tightly " hey rosy " jackson said half smiling happily hugging rosy back " hey baby i missed you so much! " she responded happily and smiling like crazy btw if you couldn't tell jackson and rosy are dating and have been for 3 years " ready to go? " he asked looking down at her still smiling " yea im ready just let me grab my wallet and we can go ok? " she said releasing the hug " yea just don't take to long cause we gotta pick up jessie's friend Phoenix " jackson said putting his hands back in his pockets " ok be back in a sec " she said before walking back inside, jackson walked back over to me and stood next to me while i texted my cousin damien who was already at school with his girlfriend mel and the rest of my friends. We waited about 4 minutes before rosy finally walked out of the house with her purse " ok im ready " she said walking over to us " took you long enough " i said plugging my headphones into my phone while looking up " oh shut up and start walking we only have 35 minutes to get to school and plus we still have to pick up Phoenix " rosy said as she held jacksons hand tightly " whatever " i said as we began walking. It took us about 15 minutes to get to Phoenix's house where he was currently arguing with his ex girlfriend talia who he broke up with 2 weeks ago because she cheated on him " great now we gotta deal with talia " jackson said as we approached Phoenix's house quietly " Phoenix please listen to me i know what i did was wrong but i promise never to do it ever again so please forgive me " talia said standing infront of Phoenix who was leaning against his door frame​ " yeah like how you promised never to do it again the last 3 times you cheated on me " he said angrily " i mean it this time Phoenix please please please! Give me another chance " she said begging with fake tears in her eyes " let me think about it.... No, now please leave me alone so i can wait for the guys to get here in peace " he said as he looked around to if we had arrived yet, he noticed us after about 10 seconds of looking around " what do you mean your waiting for the guys?What guys?" talia asked standing up straight and wiping the fake tears out of her eyes " those guys " Phoenix said pointing towards me and jackson causing talia to turn in our direction " what are they doing here? " talia asked turning back to look at Phoenix who was smirking " their here to pick me up for school so i don't have to walk by myself and plus todays poker night for me, jessie and some other friends " he said grabbing his backpack and walking towards us " cya later talia say hi to brad for me " Phoenix said as we began walking towards the school leaving talia behind.
