I

"Are we all ready?" The chauffeur, Mrs. Brison, say loudly, her voice echoing through the  room. We all nod in response. I internally groan and, as much as I'm excited to go on this trip, the process of leaving seems to take days.

When I was a Senior in high school, and had just turned 18, my English teacher told me of a contest, the prize being a trip to Italy. All I had to do was write an essay on why I wanted to go. Of course I said yes, I mean it's not everyday you get a free trip to Italy, and get to stay at a resort bigger than my entire town! (that's not really saying much.)

We board the plane and I struggle to get my suitcase in the over head carrier. After a few seconds I just stop to take a break before trying again. "Uh, hey. Do you need help with that?" I jump at the sudden deep voice that sounds behind me, and almost tumble into the man. Fortunately, he catches me before I fall.

He is maybe about three inches taller than I am, standing at 5'6. He has short but thick red hair, a freckled face and black rimmed glasses. He wasn't exactly what you would call skinny, but wasn't buff either. He was cute in a dorky kind of way.

I blush and quickly nod my head. The guy chuckles. "It's alright, I got it." He lifts my suitcase off the ground and easily fits it in then closes it. I mumble a thanks and sit by the window. He takes the seat beside me. "I'm Ethan." He says smiling, and holding out his right hand. I smile back and shake his. "Scarlett."

The plane takes off and few minutes after I fall asleep.

I was in a beautiful green garden, filled with different kinds of flowers. I smiled and smelled a bright red rose.

I was wearing a long pink flowy dress that stopped at my ankles, and a flower crown made of small yellow and white daisy's. The grass was soft beneath my bare feet, still wet from the morning dew. The sun shone brightly, and I felt as if I was dancing in heaven.

I smiled and twirled in circles then I bumped into something.

"Scarlett, mireasa frumoasa mea. I'm waiting for you." I quickly turn to face the monotone voice. I caught a glimpse of the dark figure before he vanishes leaving me curious. He was tall, he  had dark brown hair. It was drake.

I gasp loudly and awaken myself from my nap and look over to see Ethan listening to music with his eyes closed. I exhale quietly and look out the window. The sun started to set about five minutes ago so the sky look absolutely breathtaking right now.

It is a mixture of every color, orange, purple, blue, pink, and yellow. A few clouds scattered here and there just to add to its beauty. When I looked down I could see the colors reflecting in the water. I smile and take my phone and headphones and turn on My Girl  by The Temptations.

I lay my head against the window and look at the passing clouds.  They are all a range of colors from red, to orange to pink and purple. In a way, they remind me of his eyes.

No. I can't think of him now. This trip is supposed to help me forget about him.

After awhile we all get off the plane, and ride a bus to the resort.  It apparently has a day spa, which I'm actually excited about. I'm going to abuse my privilege of being here, I mean, the schools paying for it right?

"Alright, I want everyone to separate into two groups. One of all the boys and the other, the girls. The bellhops will give you your keys and show you to where you will be staying. Dinner will be at six o'clock sharp, so be in the lobby five minutes before. Now if the are no questions, you are all dismissed." Mrs. Brison told us all. We all did just that and followed the bellboy to our rooms.

I'm the last one in the group. The bellboy frowns for a minute and turns to me. "I'm sorry miss, but it seems that we don't have any rooms on this floor, I can show you to another if you'd like?"
