Third Person POV
"Settle down, class. I'm going to take attendance."
The teacher proceeded to call names to which the students responded with 'present'. After checking the last name on the roster, the teacher closed the folder with a sigh.
"Before we start class, I'd like to introduce a new transfer student. Please come in, Miss Choi."
A young girl walks into the classroom, catching the students' eyes in an instant. Her long, flowing honey hair and electrifying ashen eyes were the key objects of attention. Everyone gawked in awe at the stunning beauty who smiled brightly, her cherry grin illuminating the entire room.
"It's nice to meet you." the girl introduced herself. "My name is Choi Eun-ha and my family just moved to Korea recently. I hope you take care of me!"
She bowed politely, her beautiful blonde waves falling over her shoulders in an enticing manner. Everyone clapped, eager to welcome this angel into their class.
"Then Miss Choi, you can take your seat next to Kim Tae-hyung." the teacher spoke, glancing at his seating chart. A frown stretched across his face when his eyes landed on the said boy.
"Kim Tae-hyung! Wake up this instant!"
The boy snapped to attention, standing up, eyes wide with bewilderment. He blinked the sleep dust out of his brown hues and stood with his arms straight down by his sides.
"Yes, I'm awake!" he replied obnoxiously as the entire glass turned to face him, an uncomfortable silence hanging in the air. He blushed before taking a seat and rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
"This is the third time I've called you out for sleeping in class, Mister Kim. One more time and I will phone your house, do you understand?"
"Yessir." Tae-hyung muttered, unable to meet his teacher's eyes.
"Good. Now, Miss Choi, you may take your seat. Everyone, turn your textbooks to page 34 and Yoon-ho, you can start reading."
Eun-ha makes her way down the aisle and pulls out her chair, sitting besides the mysterious Kim Tae-hyung. Her eyes wandered to his side as he doodled some rabbits onto the corner of his notebook. It was just a moment before his eyes locked onto hers, to which he answered with a chummy smile. Eun-ha beam in return, nodding politely, acknowledging his gesture.
"Nice to meet you!" Tae-hyung stated in a childish tone, holding out his hand. "I'm Kim Tae-hyung."
"Yes, nice to meet you..." Eun-ha laughed lightly, taking his hand. She felt the many eyes of her classmates on her as she does so.
"Eun-ha, is it?" a boy whispered, pulling his desk over to hers. He had short brown hair, dark eyes, and a friendly smile.
"You shouldn't go near him, that boy."
"Why?" she questioned, a little confused.
"He's the titan of calamity, or as everyone calls him, an alien." he answers, flipping open his textbook and sharing it with the girl as if he had practiced it many times. "He's suuuper weird. I think... he's bipolar or something. But of course, that's nothing for you to worry about, my princess!" he winked. "If you have any problems, you can always come to me."
Eun-ha glanced at the cover of the textbook where the male's name was written: Park Jimin.
"Thanks..." she replied hesitantly before stealing another look at the 'alien' boy. Just as fast as he directed his focus on Eun-ha, Tae-hyung had his attention fixed on something else. He chuckled to himself and stared out the window, as if in a trance.
An alien. Eun-ha thought. Something about Kim Tae-hyung piqued her interest and she couldn't help but want to know more about him.
