before every audition, your body needs lots of mental and physical preparation. This includes, lots of sleep, eating healthy, and really listening to your body and giving it a break when needed. If the audition you're going to be attending is looking for you to have a dance prepared, I would recommend working on it 2-3 months before the audition date. If however the audition you are going to be attending is a class audition, (meaning it is like a normal class only they will be evaluating your skills) I recommend picking a few things that are not your strong point's and working on them 1-2 months before the audition class. a dancer's body takes on a lot mentally and physically already, so being a dancer myself I do not recommend working on something 7 days a week. we need to listen to our body's and at least take a one to two day break. not resting can cause injuries on our bodies, which may lead to having to take a break from dance, which none of us want.
