Prologue

Hi. My names Ella. As you may know I'm a werewolf. You may think this story is gonna be one of those cliche "oh she's gonna meet her mate and they'll fall in love". But no it's not. Sorry to disappoint some of those people out there that like that type of thing but I'm not like that... I never want to mate.

You may think (again) "oh don't worry she'll get over it and fall in love". Truth is. I have already met my mate. Well not really "met" him yet. He just hasn't seen me. And we haven't spoken. I do spy on him from time to time but I try my best to avoid him. See, I'm a rouge but I have been living in this old town for most of my life because I ran away. My parents abused me and I had enough. Now I don't let anyone in. I can't trust anyone so I won't love anyone.

I think the only reason my mate is still here is because when he got here he probably could smell my sent. I'm so glad I saw him first though, so I could avoid him of course. I don't know his name and I don't want to. The only thing I know about him is that he's an Alpha.

A very possessive one at that.
